2 weeks from today is the Hall of Fame NFL Game!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!

The NFL Football season is upon us. I am sooo looking forward to this season.

Super Bowl held in Cowboys Stadium...Dallas Cowboys...Oh yeah, you bet I am pulling for them to win it all. And they should!

So many players changed teams, cut, great draft, coaches moved around...this should be a very interesting NFL season.

My NFL Football hubs have all seen increase in traffic, especially today. Last year's hub have risen in views.

Good luck to all the NFL Hub writers for this season. I need to get my "New NFL" hubs published. lol It is time.

I know who a lot of the NFL Hub writers are already, and there are some that do not enter the forums. Be sure to keep me posted with your new NFL hubs as you publish them. I am always looking for fellow hubbers to link to with NFL articles.

Dez Bryant is certainly gonna make a mark on this team.  I love that he refused to carry Roy Williams's pads after practice.

lol, I missed that. I will have to look at the Dallas facebook page. lol
Oh, Ron...I have already made a Super Bowl prediction. Have you seen it yet? It is on a hub. Hee, hee...I can't tell all in the forums.

It will be nice when the season starts. lol

I'm for now, still in Baseball mode, at least for a few more weeks. If my RedSox are mathematically eliminated from the playoff and are out, then I'll switch to football season.

However, I do keep up to date on the Cowboys. smile

And the Texas Rangers are still in the running!!! I am amazed.

Not interested. If you are? Good for you.

RedSox have always been my favorite, from being a kid, and like I am with Dallas, I am not changing. I will stick with them, until death does me in. lol lol

I do support the RedSox, as my pledge to my state, but I am not changing my football team. I have never liked New England nor it's owners or it's players. I understand under Kraft, things have been good for New England, and even Boston for that fact, but I have my favorites and that's all there is to it. lol lol

I see the Texas Rangers as the baseball team that always finds a way to choke!!! My favorite Baseball team has always been the Cardinals and the Dodgers.

I see NFL Network is now showing a Canadian Football game each week.  This should do well to expose the US to the Canadian league.

      ummmmmmm

have you been introduced yet to the 2010 Jet football. . .

as for the Skins. .. i do think they will win more than 3 . that is if the Giants (I bleed blue by the way) dont show up again this year. . . it is the NFC and one never knows what will happen there. .

the Packers JB??? and I thought you were a man of taste in teams.  .Go Duke wink

JBeadleposted 13 years agoin reply to this

I'm from Wisconsin.  We think the Packers will win it every year.  Same as Duke!  And Duke won it last year.  I sense a pattern coming.

  8. Zebedee353 profile image60
    Zebedee353posted 13 years ago

The Jets have a good team but their season success will depend on the arms and smarts of a second year quarterback. I think their defense will be even better than last season. But we will see shortly.

    1. Ron Montgomery profile image61
Ron Montgomeryposted 13 years agoin reply to this

What the hell are the Jets thinking?  They had a team with great chemistry and they risk wrecking it by picking up one screwball-Ladanian Tomlinson and then considering another in T.O.

I thought Ryan was smarter than that!

    2. wavegirl22 profile image48
wavegirl22posted 13 years agoin reply to this

      Zebedee353-
The arms of that Jet rookie QB are controlled by a red light and a green light that gets called in to him .. if he continues to listen to his coaches I do believe he can be a truly great QB and someday start calling the play without the leash!

      Ron Montgomery
Now you didnt believe all the BS that Rex was actually going to let TO come play for him . . one wise guy on the team is all anyone needs. .
As for the Bengals . . TO and Ocho will either have alot of fun together  or it could be the biggest collision ever. . One thing I do know is that you have to feel for Marvin Lewis. I saw him today on TV when he had to announce that TO missed his plane for his debut at training camp . .  to me he looked pretty stressed out and with good reason . time will tell if this signing was the right thing for the Bengals,
One thing that it does guarantees . . . . whether the Bengals take the AFC North NFL or not the one thing that is for sure, is that they wil be a hit in the reality show dramas:)

      1. Ron Montgomery profile image61
Ron Montgomeryposted 13 years agoin reply to this

That may have been the goal all along smile

        1. wavegirl22 profile image48
wavegirl22posted 13 years agoin reply to this

So maybe TO and Ocho will get along and then again maybe they won't. Maybe we shall see the 'kindred spirits' that they they say they are, and they will take the Bengals to the Super Bowl  or maybe, like the self-centered reality stars that they really are, they'll stab each other in the back and leave behind a losing season . .
I hope the Bengals can do something this year. . after all the tragedies they had last year. . they could use a little fun. For sure it will be great 'entertainment'

Gotta feel bad for Antonio (well not that bad four-year, $28 million contract) . .he has bad knees and now he gave (sold for charity) away his number to TO. I give alot of credit to Bryant for they say he is saying all the right things, but what must he think when the Bengals drafted Shipley in the third round and now bring in Owens.

Anyone want to guess who is going to be starting next to Ocho . .

          1. Ron Montgomery profile image61
Ron Montgomeryposted 13 years agoin reply to this

I sorta like Ocho though.  I think he is trying to take his work a bit more seriously knowing that his career is winding down.

Child please . .Im with you Ron, I love Ocho . .but did you see the clips from TO practicing and skipping like an a*hole . . I think that they could be fun to watch together but TO just has to wipe that obnoxious smirk off.

I cannot wait for the season to start.  Last year was a dream come true for all Saints fans after our years of misery.  This year I will once again fork out the £200 so I can watch all the NFL games live with Gamepass.  It's an unbelievable product given all the years we barely had any coverage here in the UK!  I used to have to get my cousin to send me Saints games on VHS back in the 80's just so I could watch the odd game!  Now I feel like I'm in 7th heaven to be able to watch every play of every game if i so choose and all at a time when the Saints are actually worth watching.  That said I watched them every chance I ever got even when we were a joke so I know it's all swings and roundabouts and soon enough I'll be taking solace in some pointless stat as the best thing from a dire season.  But hey for now I can enjoy it so roll on the season!!
