Not really but congrats on being so close to that milestone.
"My hubpages' journey- A flashback"
first day
first hub
first accolades
first click
first check
and all other first things
Make a cake and celebrate...I do this often with spacecakes whhoooooo!
Congrats! Great going!! don't really know what you have already written about, but why don't your write about your long experience with internet writing and what others can learn from it.
I read your profile-- and since you say that #500 is going to be your last for awhile, maybe you can talk about what you plan to do to update and revamp your existing work.
If you can share your writing experience and accomplishments as hubber that would be really great for beginners like me.
We can learn a lot from you and look forward to reach that goal.
Thanks,
Sekhar
I had not actually planned on updating anything. Not really. Well maybe go through it a little and double check to make sure they're all got at least one image, and a few amazon products and ebay if appropriate. I do plan on getting backlinks and wotnot. But I'll figure that all out after I've had a break.
I like Rochelle's idea too. Maybe you could include your strategy for arriving at 500 hubs in 13 months. Lots of newbies could possibly benefit from how you did it.
You could just pretend that you have no idea that its your 500th hub, and do nothing special at all? Thats what I did just two days ago
I could but because I'm aware of it I just can't But congrats to you for blitzing pass that milestone! I think I'll do one that celebrates the number 500 but without it actually being about having made 500 hubs. If you know what I mean. I'll post soon a link to it. This being the extreme hub makeover forum I think I'm allowed to do that?
OK my next hub is going to be http://hubpages.com/hub/500 but don't bother going there its not published yet!
OK, its done. My 500th hub with 500 being the central theme Any feedback appreciated be it good, bad, or indifferent http://hubpages.com/hub/500
I could........ but you need to do another 485 before you get there.
DOH!!! Hang on to your horses, I get it now. You're not asking me to make your 500th hub (sorry about that I thought you wanted me to write one for YOU) but titling MY hub "My 500th Hub". I could done so but it would be too boring and self absorbed to write a hub about having written a whole buncha hubs. At least thats the way I feel about it. But I have written one about 500. 500 the card game that is.

And wanted to say thank you to everyone for so much help and guidance as I learn. Every day seems to bring a new tidbit that I realize I need to rework and what a wonderful group of people to help me through the process! Today, I learned the need to write your own summary texts. ...

Thanks to all my 500 fans. So many talented people have fanned me over the last year and 2 months, it is humbling. Please note that I have read most of your great hubs and left comments on those hubs simply because they were good and interested me. I admit to writing short comments at times,...

I just hit 500,000 views, up from 100,000 on October 30, 2013. (CPM is looking sad, though.)

Since my steady stream of freelance work dried up a while back, I have looked into opportunities available in the world of Internet writing. What I found took me way outside of my comfort zone.In the past, I was given a monthly quota of articles to write. I was comfortable with this- just write the...

I wrote a hub on swimming pools that's around 1000 words. And a lot of my videogame hubs are above 500 words. Since my return on HubPages, I've wanted to know something. Are 500-600 word hubs enough or are they now considered poor? I'm asking this because originally a writer did not need to get...
