There is no google ads on you hub if you violate any rule . Google are disabled on your hub if your hub has content about sexuality, including losing your virginity, fetish, abortion, circumcision, genital mutilation, rape, incest, pedophilia, and molestation etc

It's not just that.  If Google can't make a good ad match to your topic, sometimes ads don't show on those either.

But I'm more inclined to think that this case is an instance of the Hub author dealing in content that is too prurient.

Try to go into edit mode and see whether ad level is set to high. Otherwise, it can be that there simply aren't any ads willing to compete for that space right now - in that case, ads should return eventually. Ads shown may also vary depending on the visitor's location and browsing history.

I remember this happening a few months back to someone else - I had a feeling the answer was that Adsense itself didn't like the content or considered it against ToS for some reason.

Contacting the HP team might help.

HP probably turned them off.  They've been shutting down ads on some of mine recently despite there being not being any offensive content that you wouldn't find on Nickelodeon any given afternoon.  You can't even use the same words as the hot-button topics now or they will shut you off.  I have a hub in which I used the phrase "sexual predator" as part of a list of things people fear and that seems to have cost me ads.  So, go through and see if you have, even in passing, a singular instance that has no details or extrapolation, made reference to something on the TOS list of "subjects" you can't "write about."  I think we're moving slowly towards an environment where you can only sell stuff or review Disney movies.

When I looked at it, there was spaces left there for adverts by HP, but no adverts actually placed there. I've only seen this once before.

When HP turns off adverts themselves, the space disappears and they put a warning for the author at the top of the hub.

However the hub has been unpublished now so we may never know...

I just had ads disabled on a hub of mine about medical cannabis. I sent HP an email asking for them to reconsider. I'll try to post a follow-up here if and when they get back to me.

Cannabis is blacklisted with Google Adsense so I doubt it will be re-enabled.

In the case of the OP it seems you have passed Hubpages quality check, unfortunately something in your content has led to Google Adsense deciding not to display advertisements on your Hub.
