Jade Goody has been very brave, but what could have been her options?

Most of us have at some time in our lives thought about dying. We have often said if we had one last wish it would be..... If you had to imortalise your wedding photo's for ever, would you chose to be photographed looking as beautiful as you could or would you have chosen to do what Jade did under her circumstances?

Did she do it because she wanted to appear authentic?
Did she do it because she could get more money for the coverage?
Did she do it because of publicity?
Did she do it so that she could send a message to other young ladies about the dangers of cancer?

Most brides use their wedding day to create a beautiful illusion that depicts perfection, happiness and overall beauty captured for every in photograph even if they end up getting divorced a few months later.

Would we have thought any less of her if she had worn a wig?
Did we expect her to wear a wig?
Why did she put on a Marilyn Monroe wig for a photo shoot but not her wedding day?

    A women's crowning glory
while hair loss occurs mostly in men, women suffer from this condition as well. Statistics show that over 20 million women experience hair loss via a variety of conditions, but a lot of people still hold the misconception that this condition rarely affects the female population. This may be because women exert so much effort to conceal the condition and because the signs of female hair loss aren't as immediately noticeable.

It is said that hair loss impacts women more considerably since our society's standards of beauty usually involve the hair. Statements such as 'a women's crowning glory' are stamped all over every culture.

So what message was Jade sending out, when she walked up the alter with her bald head?

I know it might sound really harsh, and please understand that I have every sympathy for people with cancer and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, but can she please get off the front page of most of the newspapers in England. It's doing my head in.

Why can't she just drop out of view and spend the last few weeks alive with her family? She;s making Cancer about her and it sickens me. There are millions of people around the world who have cancer, why is she any different than them?!

Sorry for the mini rant, but it's been doing my head in for weeks now.

    Andre

couldn't agree more. She was a stupid, loud-mouthed publicity-mad bint before she got ill, and while dying so young is a tragedy for herself and her family, it doesn't make her a saint or a martyer.

Phew! Was starting to think maybe I was the only one! What can I say, I was never a fan of her's, and whilst sorry for her, there is a part of me who hates her for milking such a terrible thing for so much money. I know she's only trying to provide for her kids, but maybe if she had gone out and got a proper job, then maybe by now she could have earned more.

Oh, and she could have picked a better fella too, isn't he about to go back to jail for assault? Thought he only got out a few weeks ago.

I think so, yes. He was jailed for assault last year, and awaiting sentencing for another assault now.

Nothing personal LG (or any other woman who might read this) but what is it with some women picking them? She has kids, and she's married a guy who has convictions for assault. Seriously, why?!?!

Well, as above, she's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, is she?

      Good point well said!

I'd have used something slightly more crude and probably involving more cussing!

There was me thinking that Miss Goody married for the money for the kids school fees. Then I read in the mirror paper that she died leaving eight million pounds!
Are her kids going to the most expensive public school on earth? Is her family buying Eton?I for one was not taken in by the so called "wedding".Who profited from this shameless money grubbing exercise.
Any way Jack moves on-straight into the arms of the constabulatory! It must be noted that he rents a flat in London-cant he afford to buy one?
Im off to play a game of solitaire because someone has just rang me-now where is the QUEEN OF DIAMONDS?
