    Being that I now live in Connecticut, this story is really big here.  Annie Le was a Yale University student who was kidnapped and killed...

      i have been following her story, hoping she would be found alive. that's too bad. she was working on some important discoveries in that lab, as part of a team. i wonder if it was a case of professional jealousy. well, DNA will tell the tale.

      ;_;

        Just reading the article, I think it's a murder of passion.  Don't we destroy what we love most?  Awful in either case sad

    I live very near the heart of Yale (spent most of high school dating the Yalies!) smile and have been getting pretty frequent updates on the news. They just arraigned the SOB and said it is a case of 'workplace violence'. Duh! It took place at the workplace and it was seriously violent.

    I don't think it was a crime of passion. Wasn't he engaged as well?

      IDK whether or not he was engaged, but something certainly set him off.  I can't imagine why anyone would resort to such violence.  Gosh, Irohner.  You must live right by me!  I'm 30 minutes from the Yale campus.

    That is so sad and she was a beautiful and talented up and coming woman. Nobody she leaves this Earth by being murdered , I hope he gets the death penalty and I wish our Country would do an eye for an eye maybe then things would change. smile

      How can anyone justify this?  How can her best day turn out to be her worst?  Unbelievable, "J."

    Did that guy intentionally wanted to harm her just a few days before the wedding?  It would be awful if that were true.

    This is one of those stories that really tests your faith in God, if you believe, or in humanity, if you don't believe in God.  I pray that the family may one day find peace and grace beyond the tragedy.
