    Hi,

Put a lot of time in this Hub, yet no comments. It's pretty discouraging to me. So, please please give me some feedback.

    Here is the link -

I did read your hub earlier today when I was hubhopping. Sorry I didn't take the time to comment. I thought it was great and was gobsmacked at your expert grasp of the English language (and I mean that), but I just didn't think the hub brought anything new to the table. It's all old news to anyone who's been here for a while.

While I think the hub was done really well, you may find folks hesitating to hang on "tips" from someone who's only been here for 4 weeks. I don't mean that in a bad way at all -- I really do think you did a fabulous job with the hub and we're glad you're here! smile

Edited to add: When you've been here for a bit longer and have built up a reputation for yourself as an expert hubber, I'm sure your hub will prove to be a valuable reference for newbies. smile

Thanks for your feedback, smile. Actually I am not that good in English. I edited my Hub maybe a thousand times to reach that stage. I worked really hard on this particular Hub. That is why I felt sad when noone commented.

Promoting your hubs on this forum is prohibited and can lead to your hubs being flagged or even your hubpages account being terminated. This forum is ONLY for community purposes and not for promoting hubs or other external links. Focus on writing original, timely, interesting, captivating hubs and people will give you feedback based on all this qualities

You are wrong. Asking for a critique on and linking to hubs on this particular forum (Extreme Hub Makeover) is allowed and encouraged when hubbers are looking for feedback.

    Just a couple of things.

Your first text capsule is too short to hold the large google ad; make it just a little longer and check with the "preview" function to make sure that the ad will fit to the right of the capsule.

Will all the links to other hubs, you should be using the "link to this hub" button at the bottom of each hub.  This will put your tracker into the URL and you will get 10% of the impressions as well as the income from those visits.

Other than that, I have to agree with Irohner; you are probably too new to inspire confidence in this subject.  At the same time, I thought you made it plain that your information is not from experience but from research, and you "documented" that research well with your links.  Well done.

I didn't know about the Link to This Hub button. Thanks for this insightful comment, smile. I don't want views because I know I am not an expert. So people are not going to rely on my tips. I just wanted comments, smile. Thank you very much for your comment.

Sorry to bother you again, but I still can't find the 'link to this hub' button. Is it removed? Or maybe being in India I see a different version of HubPages. Confused..

Go to the hub you are linking to and scroll clear to the bottom.  It may take a few seconds; the last little bit often takes a little longer on my browser.

In the gray bar at the bottom is the term "link to this page" - that is the button you want to click.  It will then show a box with the URL in it, complete with your tracker number.  Copy that URL and paste it into your own hub where it asks for the URL you are linking to.

Got it, smile. But is it ok if I put tracker in every link? I mean is it legal? Because I checked that a great many experienced hubbers also do not put tracking code in links.

Well, it won't do any good except for those times when you link to a fellow hubbers hub (it won't help you any with links to outside HP), but yes, links to work by other hubbers are fine to use the tracker with.
