How did you come across HUBpages? And why have you stayed?

   I came across HUBpages randomly searching for somewhere to put my thoughts down. And if I was lucky a few people would stop by to read them. I've stayed because this is the one place where people give good and useful feedback. There are a myriad of topics and hubs I enjoy reading from other hubbers. So it looks like this will be my home for some time to come.

      I stumbled onto hubpages like you. I have met some fabulous people here and even though I am not a good writer... SO WHAT!!!! I love what I have published although I have had 3 of my hubs pulled!!!!

   I did a google search on alpha males and found some really good stuff here. Signed on with the intention of adding my own pages, and kicked off with some poems. Planned to add more than poetry but got waylaid by Christmas and a flood! I quite enjoy the liveliness of the forum on nights when I'm home alone and I enjoy browsing through other hubpages. One of these days I may give some attention to the money making aspect of this place but it was not my reason to be here, and still isn't.

      I found Xomba first and signed up there. I wrote a single article and submitted a few bookmarks but was not impressed. I was browsing through the Xomba forums and found a link to HubPages. Signed up that day and haven't thought about Xomba since!

   I foung hubpages by reading a hub wrote here that impressed me. So I joined but didn't write my first hub until six months later. Now hubpages is my favorite online site to visit I really enjoy reading the interesting hubs by the nicest people and the forums are great to! Hubpages is a safe place to surf and visit no cocerns about the scammers or virus type issues!

   i found hubpages from one of my other blogs...i saw an ad and checked it out and love everything about it!! it keeps me writing alot and i find some great inspiration as well as awesome information about a variety of topics!!

   I used to post garbage for fun (ego) on a forum somewhere that earner (a top hubber) was a member of.  She was talking about money for writing and that kind of stuff so I asked her.  And she said... Hubpages.
   
   So I logged in, set up an account, and the rest is history.  Strictly speaking it's the most inconsequential unimportant minute piece of history imaginable, but it has changed what I think about for the last four months.
   
   Before I joined, I used to think that I was a bit up myself egotistic know it all sort of person - and now... I know I am.
   
   Seriously.  I love it.

   i was lonely and looking for some female companionship and so a friend told me about Hubpages... he said it was a great dating site and that the pickin's were easy.
   
   Well, let me tell you, the women on here are insatiable!  I have made sweet, sweet love to just about everyone, and as far am I'm concerned, it is the BEST site in the world for casual encounters and intimate rendezvous of an erotic nature

   I stumbled on Hubpages when I was looking of ways to make some extra money from home.  Although I am not the worlds best writer and I don't make much money here I really don't care as it is great. I enjoy the feedback that you get and the social side in the forums.  I guess I will be staying here for a good length of time to come.

   I used to be a full-time freelance writer and editor, and I wrote on HubPages both for fun and to increase my presence on the web.  I stayed because I quickly realized the potential for a sizable passive income, and when HubPages started looking for a Community Manager, I jumped at the chance to be more involved, and the rest is history.  My 3-year anniversary of joining the HP staff is next month!

    I was surfing the net and looking at free blogs, I think and somehow I saw an ad for Hubpages and clicked.  And that's how it all started.
    
    Why I stayed?  Because I get to write what I want to write when I want to write it and formatting was so easy.  The income I've gotten from it has grown and that was unexpected but I am glad for it.

    I found a link to hubpages in an article explaining how to make money by writing. I decided to check it out and decided I enjoyed writing and even had what seems like success for me. 0.85 cents in adsense my first 3 weeks of joining. It can only get better.
