   Has anyone seen the new girls swimsuit collection from ambercrmbie and fitch? They are padded bras for seven year old girls! Now to mean i thnk thats to young to be wearing a padded swimsuit exspcailly on the beach with pedofiles around or anyone in general i dont think a little girl needs any attention around that area but what do you think? Would you let your little girl wear padded swimsuit/bras and things that are very revealig to the beach or anywhere at that age?

   I wonder how many people thought that was a good idea.
   You would think that a company that large would have several people looking at their product lines, if for no other reason than to anticipate customer approval or disapproval.
   This seems to have provoked some deservedly negative response.
   Some marketing person has their brain installed backwards.

      i completely agree its just not nesscary, but i dont think the collection will last long at least i hope it doesnt

   I'm wondering....could these tops be padded to help prevent them from being see through when they go in the water?  It doesn't look like they "push up" but merely cover like a triangle bikini would so maybe they're trying to add a little extra coverage...without adding actual coverage? lol  I obviously can't say either way without going into a store and examining them for myself but Abercrombie usually does a pretty good job about producing clothing that doesn't scream provocative like other stores do. Of course..I could be completely wrong....I may be just viewing the suit from an entirely different stand point.

      I'm wondering about that too....if maybe they're just designed so they aren't see-through.....?
      
      But if they're made to provide fake cleavage or bust size, then yeah that's just wrong.

      Well i was watching it on the news and nope its for style ive seen them and i dont feel like the padding is nessary, it does give a fake cleavage especially for the petite girls to me it doesnt look right at all becdause theres so much gaping in between!! I'm glad im not the only one who isnt a fan of them

   I am in agreement with you and others, that is way too young...to be imposing the importance of large breast on such young girls.

   If my daughter ever asked me to buy, or if someone I know or didn't know told me that buying a padded swimsuit for my 7 year old daughter was a good idea...I would probably throw hot grease on there face. Yeah I know its mean, but what person in there right mind would think that is a good idea. And on top of that, I bet that those swimsuits at Abercombie are 50 bucks. That 7 year old better get a good job, prefereably one with good benefits...maybe even a 401k with company match. So the answer to your question no.

      haha yes very true they  about abou 30 bucks maybe a little more and they are sold separately, it just makes no sense!

   Well all I can say is that it will save on all that tissue that the  teen girls will use instead to pad their tops.

      well thats the thing this isnt for teen girls this is a kids collection they sell it in the kids sections from ages 6 thru 10 and maybe younger i wouldnt want my child to be padding anything at that age
