They received a DMCA complaint from Google Adsense and it seems they took a little bit longer to fill the special form from Google stating that they have removed the page(s).
All adsense ads are gone for the entire site and every user.
Xomba Loses Adsense Ads Serving
No offense but Xomba sucks big time. Their reviewing process takes too long and even one of my original article got rejected.
I think you are thinking about another site. Xomba has no review process, your article goes live right away, but they do check for duplicates from time to time.
Xomba is not a bad site.
This can happen to any other site. Maybe we Hubbers here can learn something from that.
That's bad news. I have plenty of backlinks and hits from Xomba.
Ok now that explains it, I went over to Xomba earlier in the week to see If I wanted to add some more content over there. I hadn't signed in for along time.
Well I had to reset my password thats how long its been. Any way they were introducing a "New" blah blah, but yet I saw no ads on the whole site nothing but Kontera ads
Ya I didn't write anything and bookmarked it in my "lost time" folder for when I get -- realllly bored and feel like wasting time again with some backlinking over there.
Hopefully they bounce back.
The internet is a mess! There is just no 2 ways about it…
The timing of that catastrophe was pretty bad for me! One of my hubs has moved into #1 position on Bing (I didn't even know it was on on Bing until the traffic started arriving). Anyway, I got over 1200 hits in 24 hours but its dropping off sharply now. But when I looked on Bing, my backlink to the same hub at Xomba was in #2 position! Yet no adsense clicks either through HP or Xomba. Getting used to it on HP, all the clickers have left, but Xomba is usually pretty good for clicks.
I used to backlink all my hubs at Xomba but I think they lost their rankings in the Panda update worse than HP
I use Xomba to backlink from time to time, but they did get their adsense ads restored, i just saw an update.
I'm waiting for Bing and yahoo,as well as other search engines to offer ad revenue affiliate programs..
Google is becoming obnoxious
My hub has dropped to #2 today, and my backlink on Xomba has moved up to 1 and still no clicks! Just checked and yes my ID is showing over there. What is the revenue split, anyone know? (Mind you, any percentage of 0 is still 0).
Xomba stealth no-follows links, there is little point to using it for backlinks.
I do not like Xomba much anyway, their decision to use no-follow links was a kick in the teeth they gave to their authors, without even telling them about it, and despite their constant promise to so what is best for the authors, we are all about the authors, etc etc, i have yet to see any real amount of evidence supporting it.
I stopped using them months ago. This minimum word limit got me. And I honestly fail to see why a 50 word blurb I wrote in less than 5 minutes should be positioned #1 on any search engine.

Looks like another content sniper is at work, stealing our shizz from HubPages. This so called "music news" site has sniped at least four of my Hubs and it looks like there are many other pieces pinched from my fellow music Hubbers as well. If you've written any Hubs about music (any kind...

I'm relatively new to this site.I know most sites of its type do their best to be "Google friendly" which translates into "family friendly" (a phrase I hate, by the way). Over the years when tempted to use profanity either in a title or in the body of an article (and I can...

ack. Is this good, or bad, or no big deal....?Yes, I put on my noob hat.One of my articles at Ezine is now posted on a really messed up site from Thailand. It's a food article, but the site's URL has "refinancing" in it. There are some others there from different article directories.All...

I've read over and over the "get quality backlinks with Qassia" line.Is it true? Do links from this site help? How do you do it? I know you write the "intel", but where does the backlink link to? Your profile? Or can you change it to different hubs each time?

While I was in the forums, i saw a lot of hubbers complain about the effect of the Google Panda on their traffic and earnings. Some even so disappointed that they were thinking about quitting hubpages. I was wondering that Google is not the only search engine in the market. Google has strong...
