Did you see that game coming? 7-2 sweep over Vancouver. Does this score serve to make the Hawks look more inconsistent as a team or serve to make them look like contenders once again? Or, flip it around. What does this mean for Vancouver?

Lord Stanley's Cup will end up either in Boston Garden or the Bell Center in Montreal.  The original six will always rule.

I would love for it to reach Boston Garden. But I don't know, those Habs are pretty scrappy. They always find a way to turn it on in the playoffs. Plus the Bell Center is, well, it's the Bell Center. I couldn't imagine playing in a more rowdy arena.

When Montreal is losing, the Bell Centre is an empty barn

    you are both wrong.

The Cup will visit Tampa this year (from its natural home at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto).

Furthermore, Montreal will fold by the end of the summer and Phoenix will move to Winnipeg,

Next year will mark the beginning of a 10 year Leaf dynasty... as has been written in the scriptures

ha! I didn't say the canucks or Hawks would take the cup. I just asked if the 7-2 game made them look inconsistent or made the Hawks look good. The irony of the Leafs' suckiness and yet them presiding in Hockey-central is beyond me. Tampa Bay.... meh. I don't know. They beat the Flames in, what was it, '04 for the cup? I guess it's possible, but not likely. The Pens may not be able to put them away but someone else will.

as you will see from my Hub "Toronto Maple Leafs, God's Team in the NHL", your use of the term "Leaf's suckiness" is heretical and shameful.

To be forgiven, you must bake me something as per your Profile.
A chocolate cake will do.  THank you

As for the NHL season, it is over until the Fall.

Oh, c'mon. The Leafs haven't won the Cup since '67 and ever since the lockout they've been a none issue, that's all I'm trying to say.

I understand loyalty to a team so I get your passionate approach to my reference of their 'suckiness.'

And my chocolate cakes are bomb. You would be so lucky to get one....

ha! Okay, I don't do designs. I can cut out ginger snaps in the shape of a maple leaf. That's close enough right?

Lots of Leafs fans here. I am from Montreal but I am a Sharks fan and I believe in our chances of going all the way after watching last night's game!

Yeah, that's a great series. The game last night was insane! The Kings completely thought they had it in the bag. Why they stopped playing after leading 4-0 I will never know.

Sharks had a few bad bounces in first period but they managed to pick themselves up and play as a team, which is something they didn't do in game 2.
