   Yesterday Glenn Beck and his wife met his college age daughter and her boyfriend at a park in NYC where they show movies outdoors free. 
   
   The rest of the family was there when Beck arrived from work just about the time the movie was starting.   Before too long people started pointing at the group.   One woman stood up and pointed at them and shouted that she hates Republicans. 
   
   When his wife and daughter went to the restroom half way across the park a man pointed at them and shouted that he hates conservatives.
   
   The group behind them were drunk and kept making comments.  One spilled an alcoholic beverage on Mrs. Beck back.  The heckling continued through the movie.  The Beck's stayed through the movie.
   
   People were taking pictures of them and they are being posted on the internet.
   
   Good?  Bad?  Indifferent?

               Mocking and ridicule is not acceptable for anyone who is minding his own business.
               Though I may not agree with him 100%, I think his behavior and civility in the situation was 100% superior to those who acted like rude thugs. 
               If this was a public family event, the people who tried to torment him and his family set a terrible example for all the kids.

                        These people think they are intelligent but are nothing but blood sucking leeches. where ever they think they can get something free. They should try to take chances and not worry about joining some stupid union and think they will be set. They do not have the entrepreneurial minds to create wealth and live a great life.
                        
                        My family came here from Italy with absolutely nothing! we struggled when I was a kid and had to wear hand me downs and plenty of pasta because we couldn't afford meat every night. sometimes my Mother would cut up a few hot dogs and put in in rice and we thought it was special.
                        
                        They taught us to dream big and never give up and family was important. I opened my first business when I was 19, made mistakes and closed about a year later, I waited another year and a half and tried again. I remembered all the stupid mistakes I made the first time and grew the business with sales over 2M back in the early 90's I did very well and opened up a restaurant for my brother who still owns it to this day! My middle brother I helped put through NYU and graduated and does extremely well and moved to Texas and loves it.
                        
                        We would have never had the opportunities if we were in Italy or any other European country. This country is great and hope it stays that way for my kids because they have the spirit and drive instilled in them.
                        
                        My kids tell me how many professors are far left nuts and they have to stay quiet because they do not want to get a bad grade because they don't believe what he does. Some have challenged the so called professor and received lower grades. It is very sad today and they are trying to brainwash our kids.
                        
                        I make sure my kids (all four)learn both sides and make educated decisions.

      Me too, TM.   I had a newspaper column in a university town for five years.   Got involved in politics and had to give it up.  I wasn't real popular with liberals.   What I used to do was describe a situation very clearly  from a liberal perspective with an optimistic lilt, I'd write with a smile on my face.  So I'd get the readers all roped in and then I'd turn and demolish the the case  I'd just built. 
      
      Made for interesting reading and the articles got a lot of comment.  Made some very interesting friends through the column.
      
      No patience for that type of writing anymore.

    I watched that entire Video..?  What I really saw was a Family switch to passive resistance and expose a group of Thug leftists for what they really stand for. They had No regard for the disruption of life of others trying to enjoy that park setting. and  with less regards for respect of any another Human.     All the Beck’s did, was to continue a non violent resistance,  to ignorance and weak minded gang mentality. folks like those on the net, over objecting, after actually watching those video’s can not stand looking in a mirror exposing what they and people who think like that are, underneath.
