Do Hub Pages provide a Hub check facility before a Hubber posts a Hub? Can it be shown in the pre publish Hub Capsule?

I'm fine and dandy.  I just ate too much today.  I fed a total of 40 people today.  It was fun, but tiring.  Have you written anything lately?  I watch for a new Hub from you:  that way  know you are OK.  My best to you, Friend.

If you're creating a hub and you put something into the hub that violates specific rules, then it will be instantly flagged by the filter. You can see that on the right hand side of your hub while in edit mode.

Some of the things the filter doesn't catch will most likely be caught by readers.

To answer your question (with difficulty as we are in the middle of a power cut and I can't actually see the keyboard very well), the automatic filter doesn't kick in until AFTER you have published.

So if you have quoted something you will not know until after you publish if you are overused the quotes or not.

Happened to me. I published a hub that contained outside material, but I also wrote a LOT of fresh content too - about 700 words fresh.

I hung off publishing to see if any warnings came on, and they didn't. So I published.

That hub lasted about 20 minutes tops before the filter kicked in and unpublished it.

      Just so you know.

        I'll mention this again.

I had to quote a lot of text recently.  Fearing it might be too much, I used my favorite Mac screenshot tool (Skitch) to take pictures of the text instead.   Big quote, no conflict..

Hello MP50, I have been bumbarged  by hubs from people I never had contact with and one of them I reported and lookd her up and she or he has been banned. yet today I get another fan mail. I have no idea where to take this if you happen to know something I don't please advice.

What do you mean by hub checker? Are you referring to spell check or something else?

No not spell checker.. I am refering to Hubs being checked for violation etc... before publishing.

      Thanks.

There is an automatic content filter which will flag your hub if it's got obvious things like bad words, overly promotional linking etc.

However for things that can't be easily tracked, only if it's brought to a moderator's attention will it be manually checked.

It's your responsibility to know the site rules. Check in the help section.
