I was reading a forum post about using the Copyscape Plagiarism Checker. I put one of my article URLs in and out popped a bunch of articles using 61% and up of the words. Some articles are copied verbatum. I am noticing that it is extremely hard to figure out where at the article site to send a complaint.
I know others have this problem. Would someone comment on what I might do now (as in the FASTEST way to deal with it). I have not put all my titles in yet, but so far it is very discouraging. Thanks.
I don't use Copyscape because it shows you articles that may have a ton of the words you used, but they are not all copies of your articles. Use google to search for select phrases and then file a DCMA notice with Google for the sites that copied your article. I hope this helps.
Do you mean a phrase from the Hub typed into the Google search window?
ie "He fell of the pink and blue elephant."
Yes. Or a longer one with quotes around it. You want to put a decent chuck of it so you can see whether someone copied it word for word and in it's entirety. (And don't forget to put the quotation marks around it.)
No. But if you put the first paragraph inGoogle Search stuff copied will co me up. I used it tonight and compared to the ones I found for sure on CopyScape.com and they matched results.
I saw that and checked the highest percentage ones and they are mine - just words like the, a, etc are changed. Whole paragraphs are the same. But I know what you are saying. I found a way search that may not have been discussed. If you put the first paragraph of your article in google search, a lot of sites with the article will show up. Thanks
Web Hosts, Domain Registrars and Search Engines subscribe to a code of conduct under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will assist you in enforcing your rights under copyright laws. Internet content theft and duplications are severely frowned upon and they work actively towards eliminating plagiarism. And of course, you'll also be sending a nicely worded letter to the infringing webmaster to remove your duplicated content.
You can very well contact webmaster first to remove content. If he is not agreed , you can contact webhosting and domain provider of the site and can register a complaint.

A site called Zetaboard.com has several of my hubs on it. I can't find out how to get in, I tried to register to ask them to take my work down. Two or more hubs are copied word for word. I keep getting blocked from the simplest way of registering to a site, just to go in and comment, and look for...

I know that many of you here are as tired as I am of having people copy our work, post it and then earn from it while at the same time depleting our own earnings. This just happened again, and it is SO irritating!I always file DMCA complaints and eventually copied work gets removed, but what upsets...

While chasing down a couple of copiers this morning I came across this, published this year: https://bodymindspiritguide.com/2018/04 … cs-traits/Would you say there are enough similarities to this, published last year, to submit a DMCA?https://exemplore.com/auras/Indigo-Crys …...
