   btw, I created a Q&A directory of all my questions to make it easy for all friends, fans, followers, and stalkers to access.
   
   I am tentatively thinking about doing this for others. Would anybody be interested?

         Actually, since my op, I've come up with 20 more. I have yet to figure out why some questions truly take off and others just lay there dying a slow death...

               I'm hoping this is HP's answer to Yahoo. Time and again I see Yahoo's Q&A on the front page of Google. Almost every time the question itself has grammar/punctuation issues. And is accompanied by all of one or two answers; which are usually lame in the extreme.

   As an ex-GAR, I consider that nothing has ever matched Google Answers. Brilliant researcher community and some really meaty questions to tackle at times, occasionally paying $100-200 for a satisfactory answer. I used to do GA as a sideline when I was an employee elsewhere. I easily earned $600 or so a month for very part-time work, while researchers who dedicated more time earned in the thousands.
   
   I still do not understand why Google killed it. It was pure profit for little investment for them, and was way superior to crap sites like Yahoo Answers and WebAnswers as well as the long defunct Inforocket.
   
   I fear the HP Q&A will go more along the Yahoo and WebAnswers route. Unfortunately, a quality service would require people willing to pay good money for answers to complex questions, as was the case with GA.

         Luckily Google Answers is dead! I never knew it though. But, if it were still surviving today it would surely dominate the Google (Search Engine) for most of the searches (if there were similar questions asked).

            I'm really hoping that google will wake up someday and realize that yahoo's Q&A is mostly crap. And that HP's Q&A is 10 times better on average.
            
            On a separate note, if the adsense does not kick in this week, I'm dropping this project.

               It might be there - just hidden!
               
               When I look at my Adsense account I see:
               
               hubpages.com/hub with $x.xx
               
               When I click on View Full reports and then Sites I see:
               
               Simeyc.hubpages.com wit $y.yy which is double the $x.xx
               
               So I assume the additional is either Video or Questions as these are not showing up on the front page channels. I note that referall revenue shows under the relevant user's sub-domain.

                  Alas, for me, the difference is the profile page and/or referrals.
                  
                  Also, when I go to analytics, there are lots of /hub and /slide and /translate, but nary a /question to be found. As far as analytics is concerned, the questions aren't even in my subdomain.

                  The adsense code is not working in the Q&A's ads, SimeyC.
                  
                  If you would want to track your Google AdSense views, you can first try tracking for a single question by including the url of your question but without the http:// You also do the same with one of your hub so that you can compare.
                  
                  You go to your Google AdSense, click on the My Ads tab, click on URL channels in the left hand navigation bar, click the”new URL channel” button, enter your URL 
                  
                  For your case you can enter, say, the following url:
                  
                  simeyc.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-live-frugally
                  simeyc.hubpages.com/question/166866/what-sports-are-considered-fair-sports
                  
                  Within three hours you should be able to tell if your adsense code is working on the ads displayed. Alternatively, you can right click on your question page and see if the page source text shows your adsense code.

            Yeah, but wouldn't you rather Google search be dominated by quality question and answer session than "how is babby formed" stuff?
            
            I mean, I like earning with HubPages and it's great that I appear in the search engines, but I work hard in order to do so. I would want others who write well-thought out, actually researched pieces to appear over some random half-legible Q&A session even if it's my Q&A session.
            
            I also fear that HP will go the direction of Yahoo Answers and part of this is due to the type of questions being asked. For example, I see a lot of questions that ask for really hmmm personal feedback type answers like:
            "What do you think about..."
            "Would you rather..."
            "What is your favorite..."
            
            These are search friendly questions... simply because nobody care about you*.
            *The "you" in these types of questions.
            
            More search friendly questions would be, ya' know, real questions like:
            "When is a good time to plant tulip bulbs?"
            "When was the New York Central line established?"
            "What is the proper usage of effect vs affect?"
            
            These are things people really want/need to know. Nobody cares or searches for people's favorite color or if you would rather eat puke than a tuna fish sandwich with mustard.
            
            Another thing, questions about HubPages don't belong in Q&A either. They belong in the forum.
            
            Okay, that's enough for my rant.

               That's true. But, I can say that a couple of my questions I deleted and the 5 not well asked questions were deleted by the HP staff and only the how and when type were left. I asked a question on how you'll spent christmas (it was deleted - I'd have done it myself though )
               
               So, I'm guessing there's someone taking care of those.

               Hubpages have stated that 'opinion' type questions should not be asked, and if they are flagged they will be deleted. There must be some moderation going on because I've had a question deleted as it was an 'opinion' type question!
               
               On the weekend I will be reviewing my own questions and deleting any that are opinion related - I've already deleted about a dozen or so older questions.

            It would deserve to dominate the search engines. The answers in GA were properly researched by intelligent people. Moreover, since a fee was involved (minimum $2), there were a good number of well-phrased and interesting questions.
            
            The same cannot be said of the dross that fills Yahoo Answers and WebAnswers, (and HP Q+A, unfortunately).
