    Hi all,

I thought I'd check out a few of the new video hubs but find that there is no embedded video in them when I go to the hub - I have a feeling this may be a browser issue.  Hubs with YouTube embedded videos work just fine.

I'm viewing on a Mac through Firefox - it should be the latest version of Firefox.

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

      An update....

So I have determined that it's probably something do to with the Flash Player requirements  - the Flash Player tries to load the HP video capsules but can't - a problem in both Firefox or Safari on my Mac.

Oddly, hubpages is the only place that I have problems seeing videos.  All other websites that I've been to that have video, whether it be YouTube or some other video format seems to work.

So, sadly, I cannot see the videos in hubs from those of you that have used the new video capsule:(

I think you might be right about it being a browser issue. But, since I haven't bothered to read a hub in weeks or even look at the new layout or videos, I guess I'm not going to be much help. lol

But, HI! Kris. Nice to see you on the forums. smile Hope things are well, which is how they are for me presently. smile

I am also unable to view HubPages videos. When I open a video hub it points me to go to the Adobe website and get flash player. When I do, it says my browser (Chrome) already includes flash player so I can't get it. I'm on Ubuntu Linux, so I guess this just won't work out for me. Oh well...

I also use Firefox on a Mac and I don't have the problem. I just clicked on Simone's latest and it started fine.

I may have spoken too soon. I just clicked on Paul E.'s latest video hub and it played for a minute or so and stopped. It must be a glitch because I've watched many before and didn't have a problem.

Hmm, OK.  Maybe I'll try again over the weekend.  And maybe I need to update my Flashplayer.  Although, I see absolutely nothing.  It's  big open white space and no indication that there is even suppose to be a video there.
