Hello Guys! I'm new here. I just want to ask some suggestions and feedback on how I can improve. I only had 1 page impression in the ad program from the last three days. What can I do to improve this? Suggestions are very much welcome!

I also have been scanning through the forums. There's some talk about changes with google or something. I was wondering if that's why i have weak traffic.

    Thank you!

      Hi leakeem,
Welcome to HubPages! I visited your profile page before answering this question. I read almost all your hubs within five minutes. Do you get my point? They are very short.

Your hubs are well written, the content is quite good but a good hub should have at least 500 words. Anything above this number is a plus point. In your case, you can join 2 or 3 hubs to make them one because most of them are photography hubs.

You'll get quality traffic only if your content is much more than what you have on your hubs now. So, try and write lengthy hubs with good, useful content. Also add a few more pictures and videos that would make the hubs more attractive to readers.

I'm sure if you do this, you will get more traffic meaning more earnings. Do visit the HubPages learning center before writing your next hub and learn a lot more things that I haven't mentioned here. That would be very helpful. Good luck! I am sure you'll be a successful hubber.

You have only been a member for 2 weeks.  Your articles need time to mature.  When I first started writing I didn't make a cent the first 3 weeks on Ad-sense.  Now that we have the Hubpage Program its harder to get Ad-sense clicks because there is less ad-sense ads showing, but the HP program does more than make up for the Ad-sense earnings.

I wrote a bit more and around 500 or more words an article but out of the 21 hubs I have I only had 50+ pageviews for the last seven days. Any thoughts? What direction should I take?

Most new Hubber's don't see huge traffic immediately. Some of us went through the same process so do not feel badly. Others already have existing traffic from other sites, groups, etc. Just do some promotion of your Hubs and bring traffic to YOU. Manage your time between writing and promoting. Have fun smile

In reference to one of the comments - shortness of Hub shouldn't affect you. The topic / layout / tags etc are just a few things to consider when publishing. I have also checked out afew of your Hubs. Well done, I didn't grasp things so fast in my first one month here. smile

** For most of your Hubs, consider not putting a photo on the Top right. Leave it free for Adverts.

** Views - Post your links on Twitter and Facebook. Twitter is more effective as people will search for certain words that could relate to something you posted and your Hub will show up. Build a strong network too.... check out other social networks.

** Ensure you are using Tags very well. These are keywords people use to search for articles. E.g a Hub on Jennifer Lopez will have tags such as - JLo, Jennifer Lopez, dancers, music, celebrities, American Actresses etc.

Those are just a few pointers.... Give it sometime. You are very new. Below is a Hub I published for Newbies. G/Luck

    Six weeks
    34 Hubs
    One Hubnugget article
    But ~20 pageviews per day.

How am I doing? I feel like my hubs are not performing very well.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks
