I just wrote a hub about a new web series called H+. I don't know how to tag this appropriately, since the name of the show has the + sign in it, and tags don't accept special characters. How can I tag this so that is will be picked up in search engines appropriately?
Tags on HP aren't traced by search engines. It's for internal navigation only. So, don't spend too much time worrying about tags Check any cached page on the search engines and the entire page except tags are seen.
When I first did a hub on CompTIA A+ Certification I had the same problem. Back then I was under the impression that Google did look at Tags, but have learned since then that the tags are basically for related material that will show up from HubPages.
I did as suggested, however, when I did the tag back then, A Plus.
No they're not, like I said. Check out the cache of any of your pages and you'd see that there are no tags. I remember reading it somewhere as well...

While keywords, as part of your article are indeed important to the SEO "thing," and, as part of your article, they should be spelled properly and in the correct grammatical format, the tags you add outside the article are also valuable.I am beginning to suspect, however, that when...
