Found some of my hubs on another website

I need some help here.  I've been here about  weeks.  I recently did a google search on my hubs.  When the results came back, my hub came back and then another one, exactly the same shows up.  It looks like this person is tweeting my hubs and then putting them on a website (if that is even possible) When I click on the one that is not mine it goes to some website named "Twylah" and it looks like the account name is "I write for cash".  His blurb says that he/she writes about anything.  Well, he/she didn't write these.

I know absolutely nothing about twitter, but I remember when I wrote one of my hubs when I first started it was "tweeted" by someone named "I write for cash".  There is a link on the twylah website back to my hub at the hubpages web address, but I don't want to click it because I don't think I'm supposed to.

Not at all sure what to do in this situation.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry this has happened to you- it happens to all of us eventually.  HP has a great guide in the Learning Center that outlines what to do.  Check it out here:  http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/how- … -complaint

    Hope that helps... good luck!

Thanks wordscribe43.  I'm still a bit perplexed by this situation since the Twylah website does link back to my hubpage and nowhere does it come right out and say that he/she wrote it.  Like I said to Judi Bee, I need to beef up my internet knowledge.  I did check out that link earlier, but not sure if it relates to this situation.

I appreciate your help.  Thanks again.

I don't think that Twylah copies your hubs - it gives a link back the same as Twitter does.  It's just Twitter, but in a more magazine-type format - tweets are featured on a homepage.

There is a brief snip of the hub (or whatever site was mentioned in the tweet), then you have to click the link back to HP to read the whole hub.  So, actually, for whatever reason, the guy is giving you a backlink and exposure.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that it is copied content.

Thanks Judi - That's what I was so confused.  The reason I was concerned is that the Twylah user (the name at the top of the page where my hub is) is named I write for cash and his/her description says that he/she will write about anything.

And you are right, there is a backlink to my hub which is good because I still don't really understand backlinks so I got one without trying!

I definitely need to beef up on my computer/internet knowledge.  Thanks again.

I can see that his user name could set off alarm bells (having said that, I write for cash too big_smile )  but I think he is actually doing you a favour by giving you some exposure.
