Everyone believes that losing weight is either impossible or overwhelming. I know people say there's diets and diet pills, but honestly is dieting enough for all people?
Dieting is a common thing amongst young adults to middle aged adults. Many people feel they are out of shape or "large", so the begin a diet-or at least try too. Dieting, in a way, is a complicated thing. Believe it or not, but you must track everything you eat and burn a larger number of calories than you ate to actually lose weight. Now this process does take time so don't expect to lose more than 1-2 pounds a week.
A good way to actually stay with the diet is to set goals. Some minor goals that will result in your final goal. An example would be to lose a certain amount each week until you reach a specific weight you are happy with. Although many say you can't do it or you'll give up, it's been proven that losing weight is more mental than physical. As long as you have hope then you will not give up easily.
Some suggested dieting tips I'd give are to stay away from breads, pastas, and dairy, and yea chocolate, with the exception of dark chocolate which has antioxidants. (But eat in small amounts.) Focus mainly on lean vegetables, fish, red meat, and other antioxidants such as berries and other fruits. I have a personally friend who just cut out breads for a couple months, with some exercise, and they lost 35 pounds in 2 months. That was just cutting out breads so imagine how much you could lose if you cut out the right stuff and include the good stuff.
Now there's a lot of talk about diet pills. Although they may seem tempting, do not be fooled! These pills are most likely fake, unless they are actually approved by the FDA. Diet pills that are approved by the FDA don't do you any good either. Doctors recommend these pills to severely obese people who need to lose weight fat. So if you fall under that category then I'd recommend talking to your doctor about any diet pills that may be right for you. On the other hand, if your just wanting to trim a couple pounds or fit into your favorite jeans then following these simple rules will get you there within months, and when I say simple, I do mean simple.
Step 1: Drink a minimum of 6oz of water before and after every meal. This will keep your body hydrated and get rid of any water weight. (Basically losing weight.)
Step 2: For breakfast have a high protein based meal. (Ex. Hard boiled egg, cooked turkey sausage with salt and pepper, etc.)
Step 3: For lunch have a meal that consists of lean meats and fish such as chicken, tuna, and salaman. Also try meals with high antioxidants and lots of vitamins. (Ex. Blue berries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) A recommendation would be to create a personalized fruit salad that you would enjoy. This helps push you to keep up the diet if it's something you actually like to eat.
Step 4: For dinner keep it small. It's been proven that if you eat a big meal to far in the evening that it's harder for your body to digest, which turns most of it into fat. So if you eat late, you can actually gain more weight. A recommended dinner meal would be a small salad or whole wheat sandwich.
Step 5: Track how many calories are in each of your meals and total it up. Try to go to the gym AT LEAST three times a week. The goal is to burn more calories than you intake so the more you can go to the gym, the faster you can lose weight. If you dont have time to go to the gym two hours every other day then shoot me your schedule and I can send you a personalized plan that will help you lose weight. My goal is to help you lose weight and hopefully this short post will help somewhat. Leave me comments and recommendations on this post and how I can help you.
Josiefuentes and every one.
It is no doubt to see that loosing weight seems to be overwhelming but to care about the eating habits and burning the calories how much you take accordingly can ever reduce your weight well. Think positively ever, so that you may get the proper weight.
Losing weight is hard enough! But then add it to a thyroid problem and other health problems, it becomes near impossible. I applaud anyone that can lose weight and keep it off.
Great advice, diet and exercise combined seem to be the secret to weight loss success.
