If a belief is a thought I keep thinking will it eventually come to fruition. I have heard in the law of attraction seminars etc... that " A belief is a thought I keep thinking, A belief is a thought I keep thinking and when I believe it it comes. " So have any of you found that to ring true for you in your life?

Have you ever believed a certain thought that you thought and have it come to fruition?

Like I believe I can fly? No I don't think I can ever fly on my own by just believing it.

smile I didn't mean impossible things ,I meant every day daily things ,like believing a good job was coming up for you and it does ...like that ...

That makes sense. But then is it really the believing it that made it happen or just the fact that it's a possible outcome that ends up happening? My opinion is that it's not merely believing in something that makes it happen but actions and peoples motives and circumstance. If I wasn't actively looking for a good job but only believing one will come my way and one does that still doesn't convince me that my believing made it happen. It's still a possible event.

Like Henery Ford  said" If you think you can you can if you think you can't you can't" Ultimately you are the one that decides what happens to you, so if you believe it takes hard work and due dillagence etc...to get what you want than  that becomes true for you because that is what your belief system has led you to right?

True but the actual hard work and due diligence is what got you there. You can believe in that concept but not act on it and you probably won't get that end result. You don't necessarily have to believe those concepts for that to play out. In the circumstance of a really wealthy person who grew up with many opportunities for good jobs because of parental connection or something. They may not have the thought process that their hard work means anything but yet they have a well paying cushy job without much if any effort. I see what you are saying though. I'm just looking at it like the belief itself has the power to get you want you want which it was the first post sounded like it was stating. Believing in concepts that logically will most likely bring the outcome you desire may bring about the desired outcome. However it's not magic and there are other factors to determine it. I hope that made sense. lol.
