My post to FB button keeps disappearing and I still can't comment easily. It's becoming maddening. Anyone else having these problems?

      @breakfastpop
Sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing with the Facebook like button.  I just did some testing in Safari, Chrome and Firefox in Windows 7 and OS X.

I thought I had reproduced the issue in Safari, but can no longer get it to occur.

Apple is no longer providing Safari updates for your version of OS X, so I would suggest using Firefox.

If you run into this again, it may be a Facebook cookie issue or something similar.

Try the following in the browser you are using:
      1. Logout of Facebook
      2. Close the browser
      3. Open the browser
      4. Log back into Facebook
      5. Go to HubPages and make sure you are signed in
      6. Open a Hub and use the "Like" button and then enter your comment and click the button to post to Facebook.

I am leaving this forum post open in case people are still having problems.

FYI: I think this may have been related to an issue on Facebook's side that has since resolved, thus my inability to reproduce it a few hours later.

I have also had both problems off and on. Apparently something not working right.  Hope it gets taken care of.

We are unaware of any issues with comments.
What specific problems are you having with comments?

I had problems yesterday posting a comment, because it simply went to the top of the page and did not post. I C&P'd my comment, refreshed the page and re-posted. Then it worked. Today, that glitch seems to be gone.

I've also noticed that when publishing a new Hub, the Facebook icon is for 'Like" only, instead of posting a Hub link to Facebook.

I just checked some Hubs see the social media buttons on them.

The issue is intermittent, on Facebook's end, and appears to be related to periods of high volume traffic on Facebook.
My hunch is that much of this is related to people using Facebook excessively during the New Year's holidays.
