While writing a hub in my earlier years year a lot of link suggestions were popping up which is not seen nowadays. If I wish to link to my own hubs how can I do it and how many links can be used in a hub (self linking) ?
If you want to link to your own hubs, you can do it in-line or through a link capsule. I prefer link capsules for linking similar hubs that can help your readers learn more comprehensive knowledge about the subject of your hub. If you have source material, like a clinical trial etc, those are better linked in the text of your article. Of course, you could link sources with a link capsule too if you wanted it to stand out and add a description to help explain the source or how you've used it.
Regardless of which method you use, the key here is to only link to relevant information from trusted sites.
Thanks Maffew. Most of my hubs are on football and the names in most of them are interlinked. So to give a more detailed hub on some topics this may be useful. But if I give a link capsule in my hub I afraid it may become a repetition as "related hubs" are listed just below the post.
Link your hubs keeping relevancy in mind. Link one or two most related hubs
Thanks pateluday. As far as related almost all my hubs are related as it is based on world cup soccer championship. That is why I wish to know the number of links that can be used is to be known.
So long as they are genuinely related to exactly what the hub is about, there is no limit.
It is so Ok.But this is about linking to my own hubs. Can I practice the same for other's hub links from my hub? I think 9% or 12% impressions are received to the linking person. So there is some chance of excessive linking.
Excessive linking to hubs is not about how often you do it, it is about whether the link is relevant. If you can find a way to make it relevant a million times, you can do it a million times.
Ok...Thanks psycheskinner. But what I experienced is that in my 2010 hubs I gave some link to other hubs and now they are seen broken links. So I think it is good to link to our own hubs.

I am not looking to name names here as this happens quite a lot on Hubpages, but can someone please clarify whether or not it is against the rules for a Hubber to come to your hub, leave a comment and then include a link to one of their own hubs as a part of that comment. I know it says under each...

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...

This topic has been raised a couple of times in other threads, I thought it was worth posting as a separate topic to get more attention. We all know how important backlinks are. Current thinking is that simply exchanging links (site A links to site B and site B links to site A) is a...

I know it's been asked before. I've even asked it before. But is there a better and easier way to bring in links to a link capsule from another hub. It'd make linking series so much easier. I spent about 2 hours yesterday linking an old series that I have together. It included about 20 or so hubs...

Is it OK to put links to other hubs in the comment boxes?Sometimes I want to point a reader to another hub of mine where I know they will find the answer to their question. So is it over promotional to add a link to another hub of mine in the comment box. I have done it in the past and haven't had...
