I don't have a clue where to look for the answer to this question, so I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have hub violations on the craft hubs in which I have included patterns. The patterns are pdf s that I link from the photo gallery in my Wordpress blog, Kids & Glitter.
My question is, where or how to I include patterns with my crafts? I'd be okay if there were only two patterns----two links. But some of the crafts have four or five patterns. Anyone have an answer for me. I'd sure appreciate it.
how about put the pdf craft in pinterest then add in the pinterest link to HP article?
I haven't encountered this problem, but I can think of these solutions:
1. You can send a message to the team and ask for an exemption to the two link per domain rule. If the problem is that your templates are stored on your blog, you can consider putting them on Google docs or other file sharing space that is exempt from the 2 links per domain rule.
2. You could put all of the templates together in one pdf document.
3. I'm pretty sure you will be able to find a solution with 1 & 2, but if 1 and 2 don't work for you, you can publish patterns that require more than two links on another platform.
Thank you so much, Millionaire Tips. I now have my links under control. I found a site to merge the PDF patterns together so they are under one link. Whew!!!! I thought I was a goner there for awhile. You saved the day and my sanity today. God Bless You. You made me a Happy Hubber today!
You're welcome. And I'm sure your readers will appreciate having all the templates together so they don't misplace one. Be sure to put a link / reference to the hubpage on the pdf so they can come back for more directions. I would also put a photo of the completed project so that they know what the template is for when they finally find it in their hard drive.
What's the name of this site, in case I ever need this feature?
The name of the site is PDFMerge! or www. (no space) pdfmerge.com It was super easy to use. I'm not very computer smart, so I love it when I learn something new. I didn't realize PDFs could be merged together in one file until I read your suggestions. Thanks for giving millionaire tips!
Sure glad you got this fixed! I know how frustrating that must've been! Glad to know about your PDF merge site. I don't use PDF's for my patterns on HubPages, they are always included right in the hub so I've avoided that issue thus far. But good to know for the future!
lbrummer I'm glad you asked this question. There are lots of DIY converted hubs that can use this information, including myself.
