About a month ago I had notices left on my Hub account page that five of my hubs had possible content stolen from them.  I sent DMCA reports to all the guilty sites.  My question is: How often does HubPages scan for stolen content?  If the sites have removed the content, does the notice come off the hub on my account page?  If the notice is still showing on my account page am I supposed to resend a DMCA report or what?
Is there something I’m supposed to do in regards to the notices still showing on my account page?
I've never received any word from anyone about the DMCA reports, since I sent them.
It appears to me that some of the pages, with my content on them, are actually practice articles that got published (by mistake?) on WordPress.  I don’t see how they would receive any traffic, they are so poorly done.  And it looks like everything has been removed from one of the guilty sites.  What now?

Sorry, the title is supposed to read: How or When is the “stolen content” notice removed from a hub’s account page?
This is what happens when I copy and paste, so I don't make spelling errors.smile

      1) No one is sure, but it's pretty obvious it's not often.
      2) Eventually, yes.
      3) Or what.
      4) If the material was really taken down, you don't have to do anything.

Thanks, relache, for your response.  I guess I won't worry about it and just wait to see if anything happens.

I had someone steal my content recently & think that's why I lost a lot of views on it. Never had someone copy my content in all the years I have been on HubPages on multiple accounts.

These people are corrupt plagiarizing idiots!

There are numerous hubs about and a full section in the learning center dedicated to how to file DMCA complaints to have stolen content removed.  Unfortunately, those who scrape and steal content are a never ending exercise in futility, but you can file complaints to have the content removed.  You have to do that or they will simply ignore you in many cases.
