My hubs have been viewed 109 times now.
If I understand it correctly, I should have received around 109*0.6 = 65.4 adsense impressions. Yet my all-time adsense impression count is several times lower. Any idea why?
My adsense impressions seem to be distributed more or less evenly in time with hub views, so it's NOT the case that my adsense didn't work at the beginning and HubPages displayed their ads only.
I thnk it depends on the number of ads that are reflected as genuine clicks plus age of your site, links, consistency, a bunch of other wierd n strange factors success doesn't happen overnight. Hope that helps.
Thank you, Dame, for the reply.
> plus age of your site, links, consistency
I'm not sure about that. When a hub page is loaded in the visitor's browser, so are the ads (even with AdBlock on) and Google should count it as an impression (or a number of impressions if multiple ads on the same page are counted) regardless of the age of my site, links, consistency, whether it's a paid ad or a public service one, etc.
Maybe it has something to do with the way unique clicks are counted, but my understanding is that Google counts all impressions, not just unique ones.
It is true that many times number of hub impressions and page impression from adsense report never match.I don't know why?
AdSense only counts an impression when they actually display an ad. So people with ad block will count as a 'hub view' in the HubPages internal stats, but will not count as an AdSense impression.
It may be the case, though it's not that obvious.
I guess it would depend on how the particular ad-blocking application works behind the scenes - specifically, whether it only hides the ad from the user's eyes or blocks the impression-counting script.
Even if adblock does work as you said, 83.3% of my visitors would have to be using it to account for this huge discrepancy... 1 adsense impression per 10 page views.
Does Adsense not work by telling you your 'unique' impressions?
Hubpages will count all views, including your own. Sometimes I have 15 hubpages views by the time I have even pressed published, and that is just me going onto my own hub.
Could many of your views perhaps be you clicking on your own hubs? If so, you will only count as one impression.
Just a thought, could be wrong?
Also, how new is your adsense account? Sometimes they start people off on public service ads, which do not pay, until their bots have read your hub. Could it be that some of your hubs have public service ads currently and these are not counted?
Im sure the problem will fix itself.

Even taking into account Hubpages' share, with the amount of ads, shouldn't it be a multiple of views? I reckon, there should be about 6 impressions per article, but instead, there's only about .5 on average.

Hello again! So looking at my Adsense Overview, I see a particular number of pageviews that doesn't seem to correspond to the page visits in Hubpages I have for the corresponding day. I currently only have Hubpages as my active Adsense account. An example is (not my real numbers)total impressions...

I know there is some percentage of views that goes to HubPages, but can it really be 90 percent? That's about how many of mine they get. I've never cared much until now when I have a hub that is actually getting a good bit of traffic. The 90 percent rule is still holding. Yes, I am using AdSense...

Why do I show 0 page views at Google Adsense, but 200 and some impressions. This doesn't make sense to me. Google Adsense never shows the same page views or impressions that I show elsewhere. Can anyone help me understand this?
