FIXED: Images not loading properly

   I noticed yesterday and it continues today. Thought it was my device but don't think so. Images are loading slowly or not at all on my Kindle and desktop. It's happening with profile pics and images in hubs, questions, and forum posts.

      Glad you mentioned this, I was noticing the same thing. I notice on the forums, the little profile pic will sometimes not show up.

      Yes, I've noticed it too and thought it was my phone and/or laptop.  It shows the first initial of the Hubber name and then slowing uploads their profile pic.

            There was an issue affecting follower images on profiles.
            We released a fix and I confirmed it was working on profiles.
            Try to clear your cache and restart your browser and let me know if you are still not seeing some images. Let me know where specifically you are noticing image issues. You can email team@hubpages.com if you would like.

               Okay, will do, Matthew. FYI, it's still happening in the forums, about a 3 second delay before the images fill.

                  So if they are loading, then they are working properly.
                  We changed them so they do take a bit longer to load (so they don't all load at once)
                  It doesn't take that long for me, so it could be related to your ISP.

                     Cleared cache, cookies, and browser; signed out, restarted browser, signed back in; They did load in less than a second this time. So I guess it's okay.

   I've been noticing it, too. It's as if HP made some sort of change that has increased image bandwidth usage.

   Or maybe now images don't load until after the ads do, but by then the ads have messed things up.
