I just got on to check my hubs after being gone for a few months and found that the editbot had changed a word in one of my articles that was a typo I had missed but the word it changed it to had "$6" after it, which was not part of my hub. I unchecked it and then edited my hub to correct the word but the correction doesn't show up in the desktop mode when I save the changes. It only saves it correctly in the mobile version. What can be done to fix this?
Hi jacope,
Are you still having this issue? Which Hub are you referring to?
Yes the problem is still there when I checked a moment ago. It's my "What would people do if we no longer had technology" hub. Here is the link to it.
http://hubpages.com/health/What-would-p … technology
The error is in the first section, "whatsoever" is broken into three words when it shouldn't be.
Hm, I think the issue might be that you both unchecked AND edited your Hub. To revert any EditBot changes, you only need to uncheck the box next to the edit. You do not need to actually edit the Hub.

It seems Editbot is at work again. Had several little fixes, almost all in comments.

I just had a nightmare experience with HubPro. Worst was that they published their changes before I had a chance to see them. I submitted my most popular garden pest hub to Dengarden. All of my garden pest hubs are written in an idiosyncratic style that is a reflection of my...

What are your thoughts about your hubs being eligible to be edited with Hub Pro?When we edit a profile on HubPages, when you scroll down you see an option to check yes or no to possible editing with Hub Pro. I was wondering what people think of this option, and do you recommend it?

In case you haven't noticed, there's a massive edit of Owlcation articles going on. For the most part, I can only quibble about changes made, although a few irritating issues have cropped up. I suggest checking the editing because some errors are finding their way into articles. One or two of my...

Everybody is wondering how the team plans to remove the editbots from the stats pages. Apparently they are there to indicate that edits have been made so that writers can check their articles for correctness, but there are many questions about when and if they will be removed as there seems...
