If you have a hub with a score of 90 or greater, could you post a link to it below? I would like examples to improve my hubs. Thanks!
I don't think posting links to our own hubs is allowed. However, if you are interested, all of the hubs I currently have in my "IN THE SPOTLIGHT" block on my profile page have scores of 90 or higher.
To see examples of hubs considered good, go to the front page of the site, select a category, then select a subcategory, and then click the "Best" button to filter the results by HP's quality standards. The first several best hubs in each subcategory will give you a good idea of the type of format and writing style that HP prefers. Here are some I just selected randomly

http://hubpages.com/food/cooking-ingred … ?sort=best

Hope that helps and best of luck with your improvement project.
This is excellent advice.
That "best" tab of any category ranks the hubs by score. Every hub on the first page of the "best" of any primary category is likely to have a score in the high nineties. I have hubs in the high nineties buried at least ten pages in on some of those "best" tab pages so I assume everything that is above them has an even higher score! You can even browse based on what you intend to write about because even the sub-topics and sub-sub-topics have high scoring hubs on their "best" tab first pages.
I don't think it ranks them exactly by score because some of mine that are on math subcategory pages are not in perfect high-to-low order when I sort them by best. (One of mine that's at the top of the list is only in the 80s.)
But it's probably a good enough approximation of HP's internal ranking.
Excellent catch! I just confirmed that ranks on those pages don't match current hubscore according to my dashboard with a cluster of my own hubs that are all in the same sub-sub-sub-topic. I looked at the science fiction "best" tab http://hubpages.com/literature/science- … ?sort=best and I can immediately tell they aren't ranked in order according to the current scores on my dashboard. I chose that particular sub-sub-sub because it's really easy to remember what I have ranked where because the hubs of mine on that page are numbered chapters.
They are all have high scores though so the order probably doesn't matter.
I wonder if it has a lag or maybe only updates once a day? It might be arranged according to the hub scores of a particular point in time.
FYI I have 9 hubs that score 90 or better but not one of them even comes close in earnings or page views with others that score less.
My only hub with a score of 90 is titled "Mere Coincidence or Unexplained Phenomena". You are most welcome to read it.
Hi sagolia. You've received good advice to look at the hubs under "Best" so you can see the variations in topics and formats that make for a high-scoring hub. My hub on community service/benefits of volunteering, is in the 90s . . .today. It could change next week, or tonight, based on many factors, some of which are out of my control. Out of all 82 of my hubs, the community service one (and more recently another) is my only 90s hub. There was a time when at least 20 stayed in the 90s regularly. The irony is that today, due to editing and reformatting, those hubs are much better than they were a year ago but only get 70s and 80s hub scores. Due to HP algo and QAP changes, I haven't seen multiple 90+ hub scores in a long time.
So, I said all that to say you can't necessarily tell by a high hubscore of another person's hub if the elements present in said hub will translate into a high hub score for you. You can only learn from the best, follow the rules in the hub tool, and produce well-written quality hubs. That will increase your chances of getting high hub scores. But it doesn't mean they'll stay up. Traffic is a factor sometimes, too.
Here's one of mine...

I have a Hub of the Day that HubPages says has "outstanding writing, interesting subject matter, and beautiful formatting". However, apparently some mTurk has declared that the hub only deserves a hub score of 67. Oh, well...
Hah! Mine are at 92 and 86! Neener, neener!

Hub with over 800 words of content. My own photos. A video added. 3 Amazon Products that are hub content related. A whopping hub score of 49

Just had a big drop on my profile score. And all my hubs were featured along with a steady 10 Editors Choice. I say 'were' because 3 were just unfeatured and I don't know what to do about that. My views are over 945,000. Boo-hoo. Hubpages doesn't love me anymore!

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

On Friday, April 3rd, I chose two of my hubs with the highest hub scores and made one, distinct change. On Saturday, after seeing the results, I did the same thing to six more. First I will give my results, then I will explain what I did. Two hubs changed on Friday with results as...

I took a hiatus for awhile from Hub Pages! However, in the past week or so, I have added new hubs participated in forums, asked a question or two, participated with the Hub Hopper, have read some Hubs, yet my Hubber Score is lower than it was when I was doing nothing. I don't get it!

For a good number of weeks my hubber score has hovered around the 100 mark. Two days ago it started falling, and as I write this, it is down to 89! If this keeps up, it will be 0 in a week! No rhyme or reason to it, but it leaves me wondering why this is happening. I know...
