Seems less damaging than many feared. Could be helpful to small publishers.

    Another blow for Twitter.

    I hope.

A blow for Google was my fist thought. Followed by, a blow to print publishing. Followed by, the end of trustworthy news, since the BBC, NYT, Guardian, and JPR (Jebs' Paranoid Rants) will all carry equal weight in the eyes of Facebook readers.

Still, the inclusion of small publishers sweetens the pill.

edit: apologies to Jebs everywhere. I am sure that many many Jebs are fine people.

Moved to topical forums? Obviously the mods do not have a clue. This will affect every publisher including HP. I was going to suggest some features for the niches which would be useful in relation to the Facebook change, but no one it would matter to ever ventures into the topical forums, so I will leave it.

Instant Articles is going to be advert driven, as Facebook wants to up the revenue flow by integrating stories through mass media agencies including CNN, NYTimes, Buzzfeed, WSJ, NG, etc in a 70/30 revenue split.

This is definitely not for the little guy publisher.

See you again soon on Twitter.
