This weekend I wanted to start writing again. I kept thinking of titles for my new hub. Every title I thought of a red message came up that is was already taken. I kept typing in a title and again the same message. I got so frustrated I gave up.
How is this possible that every title is taken? How long does a hub stay in traffic that warrants the ownership of that title?
I just found this to be so frustrating and when I first joined hub pages in 2013 I never encountered this problem. So much has changed since 2013.
Any advice or comments on this is appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi Lisa,
You can use the same title as existing Hubs. Only the URL can not be the same.
Oops, that's what I meant.
Once the URL is successfully created, one can indeed change the title to whatever they want.
Use the Google search auto-completion feature to come up with more ideas, both top and bottom of page.
Worst case scenario, you can tack on an "a", "the", etc. to the title.

A year or two ago, I posted a thread where I offered to give feedback on hubs and how to improve them. I then went on to write a post based on the most common mistakes I saw people making (you can read it on the slider on my profile.)This time, I'm going to offer title suggestions. Post ONE title...

How do you make good Hub titles?I think I'm a little slow because I just don't entirely understand how Google Keywords works. I mean the program itself. My titles suck. How do you decide on your titles? I love to write, but must admit I'm motivated by earning on here...

I have been working on edits like a mad dog the last week or two, and I am so frustrated I could spit nails!1) No matter HOW carefully I edit for grammar, lack of typos, flow, content, references, proper use of capsules, anchor text links instead of link capsules, it seems there is always a...

In the last Hubpages Weekly I noticed the title: Is paranormal mere hocus-pocus? next to other titles without capitals in This week's Rising Stars. For a Hub of the Day and any other Hubtitle I was told to use capitals mainly but even with the Hub of the Day I see a mix of both.I'm confused. What's...

My most recent hub was Snipped and given a new short title by staff which does not properly reflect the contents of the hub. Views have been negatively impacted and have not picked up after the change. I want to change the title back to what it was. I wrote to staff...

I'm relatively new to this site.I know most sites of its type do their best to be "Google friendly" which translates into "family friendly" (a phrase I hate, by the way). Over the years when tempted to use profanity either in a title or in the body of an article (and I can...
