I don't get this whole Bing thing. Take my Nutella hub, for example. If you search for 'easy nutella recipes', it ranks 1st in Yahoo and 6th on Google. It even ranks 2nd on Alta Vista. (Does anyone even use that anymore?) But in Bing? Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Is there something I'm missing? Should I even care?
Maybe.
I've got a hub that the main key phrase returns as #2 result on Google and #3 result when searched for on Bing.
Although Bing is just starting out in the SE game, when I look at my last 24 hours traffic, Bing is now the #6 traffic source and moving up slowly but surely from a few weeks ago.
They've been advertising like mad on tv tonight. Especially their price predictor tool. I'm waiting to see if Google changes their algo and model. It's making me very nervous, if they are going to focus only on large brand sites.
Same for my hubs mate. I don't think that you should care for one reason and one reason only..... it's just another attempt at trying to break something unbreakable. That is to say, Google will remain king!
I get a whole lot of traffic from bing(Not talking about HubPages traffic as I am new here and haven't got much traffic to do the analysis)...
So, to my website main traffic contributors are Yahoo and Bing and my site ranks no where in google.
So this is normal for search engines that one search engine won't show a page in its SERPS when other search engines will show it at 1st position in SERPS.
I just checked some apparel/clothing keywords that I've been targeting, and it seems that Bing's algo goes for the really big names. macy's, nordstrom's, shopping.com, sierra trading post, ebay, etc.
There weren't any affiliate sites in the Top 50.

Ok this is probably a stupid question but here goes....I know all about the google keyword tool etc. Maybe not ALL about it but I use it for keyword research. And I assume that the results are the for google search engine only.So if I want to rank well on yahoo, bing etc how to I research all of...

While I was in the forums, i saw a lot of hubbers complain about the effect of the Google Panda on their traffic and earnings. Some even so disappointed that they were thinking about quitting hubpages. I was wondering that Google is not the only search engine in the market. Google has strong...

I noticed that 98% of my hub organic traffic is from google, why not from other search engines, specifically yahoo search engine and bing?

'To the best of Matt’s (Cutts) knowledge, there are currently no signals in the ranking algorithms that put any weight on how many Facebook likes or Twitter followers a specific page has.'http://www.searchenginejournal.com/matt … lly/87277/Drive traffic okay. Forget organic search rankings.

I know the more exposure we have, the more chances for page views. That is not what I am asking about here. I am wondering if we are effected by the quantity of hubs over the quality of maybe a smaller number of hubs.I am looking to delete more older hubs (seasonal in a way) to help boost the more...
