Facebook embed

   Hello, I just started Hubpages and am not able to embed facebook posts.  I'm guessing it's because the embed code facebook gives me has an iframe tag which isn't allowed to be used in the text area.  Is there any way to work around this?

      All work here is supposed to be original and not copied from any other site...even if the stuff on that site is yours.

         I noticed you use Pixabay as the source of many of your pictures. It is a great site that does not require attribution but many photos are dated.
         
         When using pictures from sites such as Flickr and Getty, attribution is required under the creative commons license. Getty and Flickr encourage embedding  since it allows the authors to track usage and it always gives proper attribution. It is also much easier for me than to manually attribute correctly.
         
         When dealing with social sites,  you would abide by their TOS. If I copy the picture rather than embed, I am no longer under their TOS
         
         Hubpages allows the embedding of youtube videos, so there should be a way to do it for images?

         I noticed that like the previous commenter, you use a lot of pictures that are of public domain or require no attribution.

            You said Facebook posts. Pictures are images for which there is an image capsule. If a particular Facebook post is relevant to your article then use a screenshot. Otherwise, you can't 'embed' anything that isn't supported by a capsule.
            
            The images I use are either my own or clearly attributed.

               I was going to edit to say facebook and other social sharing services too. However, the why does not impact my question.
               
               Facebook like youtube does not use a CC license but a TOS. If I take a screenshot, I am no longer under their TOS.
               
               So are you saying there is no workaround? I would be surprised as embeds are the safest way to use images for tracking purposes.
               
               For example, what if someone states they never put it under CC. With the embed code, you have a stronger case as it can be tracked . Also, if the author made a mistake, I can easily be tracked and remove it to avoid any controversy.

                     Ok, thanks for the reply but a big letdown. The best pictures are on Reddit, facebook and Pinterest way before if ever in CC.
