My hub got featured and two day later its status was draft. It had low traffic . How do I increase traffic?
Hi -- post a link here and you'll get more responses.
I found the Bruno Mars article on your profile and I'm not sure that's the one you're asking about, but in any case you need to fix the spacing around periods and commas. It should look the way it does here, with a space after, not before, the punctuation.
Otherwise it's a sweet and heartfelt article, although I wouldn't assume that "everyone" is as familiar with the song/video as you are...
If it is the article that Green Mind mentioned, then you need to spell the title correctly to start with . It's Ariana, not Arina. There's a colon in the title that seems to be in the wrong place too. Make sure there's a space after it instead of before it.
There are also a lot of problems with punctuation and grammar. Try using the free Grammarly website to fix as many as possible. Then ask someone to proofread the article for you.
There is *never* a space before a comma or period, but there is *always* one after them. Same with colons and semi-colons.
You have some random words in bold. There's no reason that I can see for that, so best to get rid of it.
Pony tail, not tale
Your articles won't stay featured unless they are grammatically correct and punctuated properly.
Hope that helps.
Thank you so much for pointing this all out. I do not know how I missed all this. Anyways your response is very helpful
It is very hard for people to see their own errors, but the way to find most of them is to
1. have good grammar and spelling skills to begin with and
2. proofread often.
Before you publish a hub, let it sit for a day or two and read it closely after it has rested. You'll be surprised to see how many mistakes you've made! I was an English teacher, and I make dumb mistakes all the time!
Thank you so much for your response. It is very helpful. And yeah I was talking about this article https://hubpages.com/entertainment/5-Be … tin-Bieber
Timetraveler82, your advice is great. Might I add it's not just grammar. A day or two will make you realise, dear lord, how awkwardly I phrased that paragraph!!!

Lately, I've been checking the feed. I've flagged a couple of articles related to spamming one's own business. After looking more closely, I've also noticed published articles (not even articles) that most would consider extremely sub-standard. I'll be the first to admit that I'm...
