I think I asked this before. Is there any way to indent paragraphs in text capsules? Non-break spaces, white spaces and tabs get stripped out from the HTML. Formatting text as block quotes seems to be the only way to attempt it, but there's no control over the amount of indentation.
I don't think so. The only way to "indent" might be to click on the little dots you would use when making a list.
Indenting paragraphs is not standard for online writing, so we don't support this, and our editors remove it if/when they come across it.
I'm trying to list a series of facts Christy like on this side panel from Wikipedia. How should I handle it? Maybe use a table? If I don't indent, a CR shoves everything back to the start of the line, making it less readable.
Yes, I would recommend using a table for organizing things like statistics or short, qualitative information/facts.

As asked in title--I have seen it mentioned a few times, to avoid creating white space issues in a hub. I use white space for formatting purposes, to make an article look tidier. That's a no-no? or what?

Can someone remind me how to prevent ads from appearing in the middle of text capsules? It's something to do with soft and hard linebreaks, isn't it? What's the difference?

When formatting a Word Doc Kindle eBook, do you indent the paragraphs?I have heard a couple of writers say that for non-fiction eBooks, you don't indent. I have also heard that Kindle will add indentations. Is this true? Is it kosher to not indent?

Has anyone else noticed that? It makes the comments section really long, doesn't it? Is that a minor bug or something?

I ran out of space on my blog when I tried to put up a 15,000 word essay (about 125k). Sigh. Thus the topic. I'd heard about HP awhile ago, a little tickled at the idea of making a few cents instead of nothing. In trying to get up a test hub, I read the stuff on subdomains,...
