The link is okay, so  something else must be wrong. How are you sharing it? When I share a hub on Facebook I simply paste the URL into the post itself. That always works.  Facebook recognizes that it’s a link and it automatically places the first image in the post.

You are not using the entire URL when you try to post it. The example you gave here is truncated. That's why you are getting a different hub.

In this case it just happens to be a valid URL of someone else's hub when cutting off the rest of your URL. That's why you need to copy the entire URL.

I don't know where you are taking it from, you didn't mention that, but I suggest you copy and paste it from the URL field of you browser when you go into that hub. That will assure you are getting the proper, and entire, URL.

It is very strange, I did copy the entire hub URL, that is why I do not understand why it went to the one that came up hours later, after the Hub not found statement first appeared?

You did not copy the entire URL in the last post example you gave. Take a look at your post. The URL is cut off right after "The-Burn" – but you meant to include "The-Burning-of-Centerville-and-Vernon-Tennessee-Durning-the-Civil-War"

By the way, while we are on that subject, you should change your URL to something shorter and simpler when you first create your hub. Making the URL more generic helps if you later change the title to something different.

However, you can't change it now anymore after publishing. Just remember to change it when you create new hubs in the future. That will also help with your problem with truncating.

I went into detail on that in my hub "12 Overlooked Hub-Writing Techniques You Need to Use" that you can find in my profile.

Thank you, I probably just messed up something while I was rushing to get the hub done, need to practice patience sad

It probably hasn't been reviewed yet.  So we can see it, while logged in, but not the rest of the world.  I assume you just published it within the past few hours?

Yes it is published, and I assume reviewed. It has a score ranking etc. I can put it on Facebook, but unless I put some photos with it, the Hub picture that comes up is of a cake, and a statement saying Hub not found. But if you click on the link it appears as the hub I made ...

If you're using a notebook/desktop, after clicking in the URL bar, press CTRL-A to select all. Normally clicking in the bar highlights everything, but if not, some of the text may be beyond the end of the bar, so it's better to do CTRL-A to select all before copying to the clipboard.

Thanks a lot.  I'm having the very same issue.  No more dashes in my URL.  My hub comes up when clicked on the hubpage.  But, when I share it to FB, some cones come up with Page Not Found.  I guess I'll have to delete the page and start over.  Let me know if you have any other suggestions, please.

Try right clicking the title of the hub on your stats page, then do "copy link location" from the pop-up menu.
