How do we overcome pressure and harassment inside our working place?
Sometimes, even how much we tried to be nice and faithful we are in our work, but yet, there are some officers that cannot recognized your efforts. Even how much you work hard on it but it seems that it's not enough for them. Probably, because they want to see us suffered and feel more miserable for their own satisfaction. I ask this question because most employees experienced this kind of awkward feeling towards our superior.
Well I can't say I have a whole lot of expierience in a work place, but I know that I have good thoughts, that I seldum listen to. I hope they may help you.
There are a few ways to deal with harassment, theres the serious way, like makeing a report or fileing a complaint. You could also befriend the person by being nice and asking them about themselves, asking how thier day is going, offering them some food you may have, or simply helping them out. You could also eplain to them that they are simply pushing too hard or being very rude or inconciderate and you would appriciate it if they weren't so harsh, with that you could explain to them how they make you feel when you go home and think of what they say and ask them again if they would please consider toneing it down. With that instance you may gain more respect from your employer and make you feel a lot better.
I use to work as a customer service rep in a fairly large call centre. Before entering the facility, I would meditate several minutes. By doing so, I would make sure I would be in good spirits because in this type of job, whether one wanted to or not, it is easy to take on someone else's emotional if not spiritual baggage. I chose not to add fuel to someone else's disconnect. I'd also make a point of not taking on or home someone else's issues. Some people will never be your friends! They may never invite you home to a bar-be-cue they are having a their house. SO WHAT!!!!! This is my job and it occupies eight hours of my day 4-5 days a week. If I am blessed to find someone who I can associate with, that is great. If I can not, that is still great because my life does not start and stop with my place of employment. I remember someone stating, not everyone is going to like you, YOU MUST LOVE YOUR SELF!!!!!!
First and foremost, in today's environment, you should be working for a company that considers this type of behavior to be a termination offense. They do not want it in their organization if they are wise. It is disruptive and demoralizing. Secondly, the onus should not be on the employee to enforce the rules and guidelines. Thirdly, document things as they occur, and have witnesses when you can. Report the activities to your HR person along with your information. The company should take it from there and investigate the validity of your claim. That is the importance of having evidence to help you. Do not let fear and intimidation stop you from doing what is right. Your company cannot help you if you do not give them the opportunity. WB
As a CNA instructor and a nurse in the clinical setting for 28 years I teach my students that when you come upon a situation like this you stop it and report it. This seems to let everyone know that you are aware of what is going on and that it is not okay for them to be doing this. If this means your job then that is okay also. You don't need to feel harrassed while you are working or anywhere for that part. Most of the time when people are doing this they are jut being bullies and bullies are more afraid of you than they want you to know.

Why do some men think it's ok pressure women to give in to their desires after she turned him down?Of course, this happens to more people than only women, but women seem to be the primary targets for unwanted touching, aggressive 'flirting' and other forms of potentially frightening street...
