    Do you just write your articles for HubPages, or do you also use them on other content sites? Which?

    Do you use the exact same text, or do you change it around to make it unique? What are the advantages or disadvantages to what you do?

    I write my articles for Hubpages.  I am in the process of understand and implementing back-links to my articles.  I'm still learning the process, so I intend to track this question with great interest.  I'm curious to see what others have to say.

    In general, I think it's best to post unique articles on sites.  There seems to be little to gain by posting the same article in multiple spots.

    Paul, et al: Would you gain more exposure or have a greater chance of being found if you had your article on several sites as oppossed to just one? For example, if you post the same basic info on three sites (HubPages, Associated Content and Bukisa), is that like having three needles in the haystack as opposed to one? Or do you just dilute the effectiveness? How much value does absolute uniqueness have and how can you judge or quantify that?

      It dilutes the effectiveness.   Google will pick one and ignore the rest.

    Using the exact same articles, or very similar articles, will get you flagged for duplicate content on Hubpages.  This will hurt you in a variety of ways, including traffic and no-follow links.

    Instead write the article three times, from slightly different perspectives, link them together, capture that traffic, and profit!
