I can't say what I would do but they don't need anymore attention.
Logically, I won't do anything to them, but I don't know what sort of emotional state I would be in at the time so I can't be sure what I would do.
Have a great day
If you believe in the constitution of the united states then you have to let people speak their mind. I might remind them that I find it personally distastefull and although free speach is a right, if you tick me off I might be inclinded to go upside your head.
If The Westboro Baptist Church Picketed Your Son's Funeral...
It could be anyone in your family, really. What would you do? Would you respect their appeal to their constitutional rights? Or would you take matters into your own hands?
I would sue them like that recent family did, and yes appeal it if necessary.
No one has the moral right to picket a funeral like that, especially saying that God hates anyone.
That being said, there are bunches of issues on the other side of the coin where picketing should be illegal too.
I can't say for certain, because I thank God that I haven't been put in that situation. But that being said, I would hope that I would have enough self-control to not run them over with my vehicle and instead, do what they really need-say prayers for them. In my opinion, these poor misguided folks are not acting on God's behalf or best interest AT ALL. They either are weak followers with no self-esteem, or just trying to get attention. I agree, they deserve no more attention. And I would strongly advise any family or friend that had the unfortunate circumstance to come across these people-attention is what they want. Ignore, as hard as that may be, and carry on. Do not allow them the priviledge of being associated with ANY memory of your loved one. Brush their image away, as you would that of a gnat you just squished with your foot and then kept on walking.
I couldn't control myself; I know I would say or do something that I might regret later on. Yes, free speech is in the First Amendment, but did the founding fathers intend for a group of people to be allowed to protest at funerals, let alone the funerals of those who are dying every day for their right to free speech, and say "God hates America," "God hates you for accepting fags," and "You're all going to Hell?" I don't think they imagined such a circumstance when they signed the Constitution.

So I saw this article this evening about the newest, strangest thing the KKK is up to. Apparently the KKK is now protesting the protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church hate group. This just cracks me up. You know you're bad when ever the KKK thinks you hate to much. So what do you think about...

Westboro Baptist church to picket the Arizona funerals. Angels coming to defense. How many think it should be the Hell's Angels? Coming to smash the Baptists to their knees?

http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/05/03 … 09888.htmlAs someone who has been to many, many Slayer shows, I've got to say that there are no words for how epic this would be.It might be the first step in explaining Darwinism to the WBC in a most concrete way.
