Blogging to the bank or writing 'til the cows come home?
A lot has been said about the power of personal blogs but are they really your silent sales machine or just another waste of your valuable time... would your time be better spent writing articles for directory submission or building an audience by blogging 24/7 ? what do you think? To Blog or Not To Blog? That is the question... ;-)
blogs let people get to know you somewhat and creating online rapport could positively affect your income
Although I don't think that you should leave building your presence online strictly to blogging, it does help. People get to know you that way and appreciate the amount of time, effort, and knowledge that you put into your blogs. There are many different people out there with all different levels of knowledge in online business (or the Internet in general). Everyone knows what blogging is, but not everyone understands "directory submission". Those who are more advanced will acknowledge and appreciate the articles, but those who are in their first few steps will enjoy and not feel overwhelmed by simple blogs. Therefore, I believe that both means of campaigning are crucial in building a successful business.
I believe blogging is the starting point, it's your home where you allow people to get to know you better and connect with you. If you are seeing outstanding results with blogging, then by all means focus on it.
Creating and putting content (articles etc.) across the web is a great way to build backlinks and your online presence.
I strongly believe in blogging. A blog can become a valuable piece of online Real Estate in used and structured properly. It also serves as a resource for your audience when they search for you or your company in the search engines.
As for ONLY blogging, I recommend spreading out your content throughout the internet so as to gain the greatest amount of exposure and the best results in SEO. Then obviously drive your audience back to your blog where they can get the answers to the questions they have and chose whether to continue forward and become a customer and/or business partner or chose to look somewhere else.
As entrepreneurs we all believe in multiple streams of income, so I believe both blogs and articles have a place in our marketing arsenal........and as both also build up our web presence it makes sense to me to maintain both!
Having a blog and content on the internet is important to your brand and your presence online becauase people will search you out wanting to know more about you.
Blogging is the old horse the in race these days, with twitter and facebook you can get the same results from there doing the same thing. but I still blog because its extra exposure to viewers, its a matter of covering all your bases. but like said before care needs to be taken before you post a blog, I and many others takes a few days to write a post, its not something we come up with in just a few minutes or hours. much care is taken, why? better results!

I don't.Yes, there's some good stuff out there. However, they're not really written in blog stylbe. They're...

I'm new to hubbing & I've never done blogging. My question is, what's the difference in hubbing & blogging (besides the money factor)? Can't hubbers make their hubs like their blogs? Like post about things they enjoy doing or writing about? I think it's really nice if you blog/hub while you...
