    If Facebook were not free would you get a facebook page?

    Although it may never happen, if Facebook began charging a monthly fee for having an account and other fees for "premium" services, would you keep your account, if you had one? If you never had one, would you get one if they charged? Briefly explain. Thanks!

    First and foremost it depends on the price.  Facebook's current state of operation is not really enough to pay for.  If Facebook charged users, it would only open up doors to new free social networking sites or lead us back to old ones such as Myspace.

    I don't believe I would get a facebook page if they charged. They make money through advertising.

    I would not  keep mine if they charged; they have provided me  access to friends and family.  They do not provide enough to charge.  I can revert back to email to remain in contact.  There are many other options out there still for free.

    I wouldn't pay to be on Facebook.  I refused to use it for the longest time because it was initially very homophobic but they got smart and now welcome gay people and target advertising towards them.

    I use it because my nieces and sister are on it and a couple of friends and it's useful for promoting myself too.

    I expect if they started charging money people would abandon it by the hundreds of thousands very, very fast.  And some other free network would immediately fill the gap.

    I would not keep mine!! The main reason i joined facebook was because it was free, i feel like if you are willing to pay then you must have extra money lieing around!
