If you get Google traffic on a hub in it's first day of publication, would you think that you'd...
really done a winner, or that it was more of a statistical anomaly
thats true , it means u have done well..................................................
For me personally I was on and been on the 1st page and 1st on the list since September 2010 A.D. I have not received any google traffic yet. That is alright with me because all of my traffic to my 1 article that is unpublished on hubpages gets 100 percent referrals which is much better for my 1 article on google. It took 2 months for the referrals to find my 1 article on August 2010 A.D. and I began to get page impressions of my 1 article on September 11, 2010 A.D. I earned my first 1 cent on December 28, 2010 A.D. I reached my 1000 ever views on January 7, 2011 A.D. Thank you.
The speed that your hub is indexed is out of your control. If you got indexed quickly then great. However do not confuse Google traffic with success. Its all about your positioning for the keywords you want to be found for. Check your hub stats, find out what you are being found for. Type you keyword phrase into Google. If you are on page 2, backlink. If you are on the first page. Hats off to you!
Hits the bull's eye. Fantastic and awesome. Keep try to hit more bull's eye
I'd say that's a very promising start! Maybe you've hit on a topic with good/reasonable traffic and with none or very little competition. If so, good for you!
If it happens to me I would say that I have hit the bulls eye blindfolded :-)

Hi everyone,Since Google's updates these past couple of months, I've noticed a significant traffic drop (about 20%). Every time I gain some traction and hope, it's a case of going back two steps again. I'm sure I'm not alone! I thought it might be a good idea to start a healthy discussion here to...

This might be a complete co-incidence, but I switched to the new profile a couple of days ago, and today Google is pretending it doesn't know me. Hubs that ranked on the first page for main keyword are not found in the first 10 pages. Even more worrying, I can't find them in Google even...

How is it that a hub on the 'common mistakes new hubbers make' can suddenly become not featured, in spite of the fact it has had 9 views in a day, 24 views in 7 days and 35 views in the last 30 days? I only replied to comments on it both 42 hours ago and 22 hours ago (from two different hubbers)....

If a hub is not featured does that mean that it doesn't get any search engine traffic from Google or other search engines?

I got this hub up to 91 rating. I'm trying to get traffic from Google so that people see it. I had a success on Reddit which brought a lot of traffic to it. I was able to get 20 up votes on it. Everything is good about the hub from Hubpages perspective.1. good...

A few weeks back I spent a lot of time researching and writing a hub about The Prisoner which was and is a cult TV series starring Patrick MacGoohan. I thought I would be sure to get good traffic for this but it has failed miserably. And guess what it has had no traffic from Google at all! Now why...
