    Life is not a game but a stage and we are all actors who play different roles.

    All the World's a Stage
    By William Shakespeare

    All the world's a stage,
    And all the men and women merely players;
    They have their exits and their entrances,
    And one man in his time plays many parts,
    His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
    Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
    Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
    And shining morning face, creeping like snail
    Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
    Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
    Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
    Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
    Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
    Seeking the bubble reputation
    Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
    In fair round belly with good capon lined,
    With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
    Full of wise saws and modern instances;
    And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
    Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
    With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
    His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
    For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
    Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
    And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
    That ends this strange eventful history,
    Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
    Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

    Life is like a game where nobody tells you what the rules are, so you have to make them up as you go along. And... you have to have a certain amount of crazy in order to succeed I believe smile

    I'm afraid that indeed life is a game and while you don't necessarily always have to play by the rules in order to win, it certainly helps to know and respect the rules put in place.

    No life is not a game. You aren't playing at life, you are living it. You make the decisions and choices, you don't follow any set rules on what you have to do.

    If everyone played by the rules history would not be made.

    There's a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that I adore: "Well behaved women seldom make history." Just though that was relevant.

    Then again a Darwin Award may be in your imminent future if you bend the rules TOO entirely much.

    Yeah.. The Game is called LIFE... the only game where you yourself would be the one to create the rules and play with it..

    YES.
    You can break the "rules" and get away with it for a while...but being dishonest will catch up with you. I believe you need to be the type of person you wish to attract.

    I don't think of life as a game. I think of life as a gift,and should be revered. Life is not about winning that sounds greedy and selfish. It's about serving our creator, who gave us life, and living as he enables us to do. By loving Him and loving others.
