Yes, It seems that all churches has atlease three collection per service. Some churches have more than three collections per service.
Yup,they need money to survive just like any other organizations.
unfortunately, yes some of them are. The small ones need every penny to survive and the big ones are greedy (assuming their money hunger)
i don't think all of them are. some , yes but many of them just want to get by. now if you include the catholic religion, then in far too many cases, power and money is all that drives them.
First you join, then you pay your 10%, then you go to heaven. Don't worry about sinning. As long as you continue to show up, you will be saved. How can anyone be suspicious about that formula?
Sadly some might be, and no you don't just turn up and pay your 10% tithe, and expect to get to heaven. There's more to getting to heaven and being added to the Lambs book of life.
The Father knows our heart, you don't get in by works, but by your heart, your Love, and if you walk in the Kingdom of God.
Like any other organization, they need money to survive, most churches use some of this money for area's such as, outreach where they go out into the community and offer assistance.
Missions, to other countries that are in desperate need of orphanages, schools etc. And in the process spiritual help and healing and deliverance.
Hope that helps
Too many roads in religion lead back to the money. Too many people involved in the process of administering religion live far better than the average American. In the church, as in our government, are too many people who see money coming in and cannot wait to dream up ways to spend it. Once it is all spent the effort begins to fill the coffers once more with money by leaning on the congregation. In far too many cases today, organized religion is too much about the money, physical facilities, and too little about the word of God. Brother Dave Gardner posed the question one time as to "what would all the preachers do when the devil was saved?" ...an interesting point. WB
Churches need to be GOD hungry and the rest will automatically be taken care of if you seek the kingdom of GOD first. When a church starts to know and walk with GOD truly moment by moment like I am doing in my own life on the earth then you will see how life for human beings is lived under the authority of GOD upon the earth which will definitely happens when Jesus Christ return to rule over all the earth and establish the kingdom of GOD for humanity on the earth forever and ever in due time. Stay tune for when this does happen on the earth. I am already prepared and looking forward to it and GOD given me a bonus when GOD in a vision shown me the other side of death on August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning.
Everyone is money hungry...it consumes our good...that is sad....and bad....we need money to survive...but we do not need to be gluttons and thieves, and I do question the morality of all life when even the faiths throw a collection plate in your nose while they are talking about how we should not be greedy and be giving and caring at the same time...to me that sounds absolutely hypocritical...so why are they asking, or why not pay US then?...It's always "do as I say, not as I do"...same old, same old...everywhere...double standards run amok....
Some of them aren't and you can usually tell the instant you walk into the church. I find the mega huge churches to be quite money hungry.

For the very many years I was in Church attendance, the Kingdom of God was always equated with Heaven. It was a future event that only those who believed in Jesus would see either when they died or were raptured, whilst the remainder of humanity would go to hell. A Christian could be disqualified...

Can you explain your understanding of the Kingdom of God?I truely believe there are a large number of different understandings of what God Kingdom really is. I am wondering how many out there have the same understanding. What do you think God's Kingdom is and is not?
