Has Google's new algorithm called "panda" improved search quality?
I think it works. Panda is a punish solution for those who spam google, the quality information will have more exposure chance in google.
I'm from the UK, so I don't know how long it's been here, or even if it's reached our shores yet, but the quality of searches lately has been woeful, with loads of 'server not found' links in the first few of the results, and loads of question-and-answer type sites coming up (that I discover neither ask nor anwer the question I was looking for!).
Yes, sure, it has improved search quality!
Poor content, duplicate content pages, spam, sites with more ads than content - all those have moved down on the Google search result pages.
On the other hand, quality content sites have been pushed up, which is excellent for the searchers.

Is it true that Google is inundated by billions of articles that it's suffering from a system overload, and unable to give quality attention to new and better written articles? Just imagine, the poor Google crawler had to sift through 14 million articles to come up with 10 results on page 1 for a...
