Just curious to find out if my hub has been indexed by Google. It was created over 2 weeks ago..Any suggestions would be appreciated.
If you do a search on Google with the title of your Hub in quotation marks, you'll see that it has been indexed. If you take away the quotation marks, you'll see your "competition" for attention on Google (at the moment, your Hub is not on the first page of results).
Do a Google search with this format:
site:url
url = http://hubpages.com/hub/my-hub
(Don't click this link. It is going nowhere. it is just an example)
When you create a hub, you are asked to give a web address.
You can use this format for other major search engines too. Google indexes hubs very quick. My hub was index in less than 12 hour. If your hub does not have any serious problems, such as duplicated content, your hub should have been indexed long time ago. But that does not mean too much. If the search result for your major keywords ranks low, you get little or none traffic from SEs. Go to your hub page and click VIEW STATS button, you will see where your traffic comes from.
If you are having trouble getting a hub indexed by Google try what I did. I published my first hub at 10pm, did a digg on the hub and by 7am the next morning the hub had been indexed and the digg was #1 on Google for my keyword.

I love HubPages, I feel that I have learned so much here and my confidence in writing non-fiction took such a huge leap when I was invited onto the Apprenticeship program last year. I have met some wonderful people here - both staff and other Hubbers. But as may other people have said, the idling...

Hi, I am new to HubPages, but I've noticed some of my hubs are indexed on Google and some are not. One of the earliest ones I posted (over 4 days ago) has a little 'traffic falling' arrow next to it. I tried to search for it on Google, and despite it having the 'featured' symbol next to it on my...

New hubber here! (Well, sorta new. Started an account years ago and just checked back in.) Still trying to grasp the whole SEO thing and I'm wondering how long it takes to get a hub indexed and how to tell if you have been? Also, are articles on the niche sites more "findable" on google...

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...

Having just started to look at webmaster tools this may be in the wrong section and it may be just my complete lack of understanding but;Google webmasters tools and the "index status" tab should return a graph according to their description that should continue to grow as pages are...

Have been through confirming Google-indexed-hubs in my HP's account; I had to use the Google search with first paragraph of each hub in a quotation mark. It was a hectic experience and am wondering if there is any other fastest way of doing this- All the same; the results were impressive as all my...
