What's the most embarrassing think your dad did to you when you were younger?
When I was around 12 years old, the thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, was to go to the movies. The theater was usually packed with friends from school.
So, after getting permission to walk to the "Arden Theater" in Southern California, which was only a mile or so, I joyfully trotted off - not to see the movie that was currently playing, but to see friends and devour snacks.
Once inside the theater, I spotted a group of friends who were saving me a seat. I got lucky and found that I was seated next to a boy that I had a huge crush on. About an hour into the movie, he gathered up enough courage to put his arm around me.
I was loving that, lost track of time and sat through the movie twice. Meanwhile, my parents are at home having a fit and worried about me. So, my father drives to the theater to try and find me and he is seeing red.
So, here I am, snuggling with the young man on my right, in the theater, day-dreaming away, and all at once I feel someone grabbing my arm and yelling my name out at the top of his lungs.
Being humiliated in front of my friends by my father, was without a doubt, my most embarrassing moment.
My dad refused to let me take showers in the morning before school.....so I always had to go to school with bed head.....which back in the 1980's we guys had big hair like Bon Jovi....so you can imagine how sweet my hair looked going into school.....one of my close friends said..."Most people have a hair do, but he has a hair don't"....needless to say I learned to wash my hair in the sink before school.
When he walk bare footed into a mall because of something i can't remember now. A learnt gentleman that teaches me to be a lady? He is a spontaneous almost carefree person. I don't know if i still mind, but it hasn't happened these days. I am sure being a mom, now, that I have embarrassed my child during many incidents for being different, but I am still loved no matter. So, what's with being barefooted in a mall?

It could be a holiday, vacation, birthday party, random family event, something that used to happen on a regular basis, anything at all.

What time do your children go to bed? How long do they sleep? What about naps? The younger two go to bed around 8 and get up about 12 hours later but...
