I am not clear on the adsense ads on my hubs are not being clicked.

Several of my articles have gotten lots of pageviews, but zero clicks..doesn't this seem odd?  I'd perplexed how to make money here at hubpages.  I am making money monthly at Yahoo Associated Content and Suite10

Hello. No it is not strange that your hubs may not get clicks on ads. People are quite savvy these days about AdSense and don't seem to click as often as they did. I have seen some reports suggest it may be just 1 in 1,000 who clicks. I have found that to be true myself both here and on List My 5.

Yahoo Contributor Network uses the Cost per impression (CPM) model so you only need someone to download part of your page and be paid for that.

Maybe use Google Analytics to see what your Bounce Rate is and if those views are truly readers. I found some differences between HubPages views and what my viewers were actually doing when I began using Analytics.  Maybe those pages have high bounce rates and so the HubPages count is deceiving you. I found on some pages up to 60% of my HubPages views were actually bounces. only 40 out of 100 were reading a hub. and I was averaging 5-6 pages per reader, so my 1,000 views might really be 200 individual unique readers.

most people aren't interested in google ads and similar networks.

I think google adsense is way over rated, and from my experience its almost worthless. most people would agree with me.

sure, some people make a lot of money on it if its optimized well and they get tons of traffic but that's just some people. hub pages keeps half of your earnings with Google Adsense for your hub pages, so if there's a click there's a random 50% chance it will go to you. maybe 60% chance.

Hub Pages is a revenue sharing website, this is why. You get the privilege for your articles to have a natural advantage for getting more traffic due to the page rank and networking abilities in hub pages and in exchange you split half of your revenue with google adsense, amazon, anything you enter into that form to use on here.

Let me make something clear - ONLY the amazon / adsense / kontera/ whatever units that are on your hub pages - won't have anything to do with anything else. I figured most people reading this would understand but just in case. . .

Would you click on adsense ad on a web page? Just ask yourself. You have to make people click on ads and the way is to make the appearance of ads similar to your web page structure and appearance. Secondly try use of amazon affiliate program and integrate amazon products related to your hub to earn money
