If you were immortal what sort of life would you lead?

Think in these terms, would you marry knowing one day you would outlive every person your involved with and even your children, grand children. Would you turn to a life of crime considering you cannot be killed or pursue criminals and take them down. Would you explore the bottom of the sea as the pressure could not kill you. Things like that

A slower one.  A calmer one.  A more serene and balanced and outward-looking one.  One in which the pressures of survival in a biologically unavoidably finite sentience don't compel one to make decisions based on "balancing" long and short term.

I'd still do unto others as I would have them do unto me - only now, not just for reasons of "right and wrong" (and eternal self-preservation in an attempt to please God), but because if we're immortal, then time guarantees that what I give and do to and for the world, would surely eventually be done back unto me.

I'd take active and time-consuming (endless supply, right?) care of the natural world and pay attention to sustaining IT, not depleting it for selfish or self-centered purposes, in a meager attempt to achieve an equal symbiosis for that which is supporting and sustaining me so well.

I'd still regard children as God's blessings to the world (even though, in this immortal scenario - adding generations to a population that doesn't die would have to "magically" defy karmic and Newtonian law.  Matter would have to be created if nothing "died".

And - hey, now this is a cool thought-thread - wars would be futile!  We'd actually have to figure out how to SOLVE problems, not just fight them until the "stronger" or better-resourced fighting unit "wins".

    Hmmm..........!!!!

Being immortal people would procrastinate knowing well they had another day to do the pending work. Immortality would have made dinosaurs of us useless and a burden hindering the evolution.

For "me" the Question is not ... If I "were" immortal ... For "I" am ... the "me" in "I" Is ... Immortal !

And I am abundantly clear about the Life, I am to ... I have to, Live

I know ... I have to live the Life of a Believer ... meaning, the life of a Muslim, Believer.

And no one out-lives the other ... all of us are a Part of Creation ... and all of us are are Immortal ... we are all Equals ... There are no Geniuses ... or Supermen ... chasing criminals ...

It is the Doubters ... the lost souls ... those who know not, nor learn, what to do ... who seek  Fountains of youth ... and eternity, in a Cryogenized body's Physical survival ...

Originally, man was designed to be immortal. If I would live forever, I would travel, meet more people, and write more to promote peace. I would definitely explore underwater... but probably not deep in the ocean. What happens to an immortal person who gets eaten by a giant squid?

If I were immortal, I will seek for death. :-) honestly! Just imagine! how boring it would be if you live forever.

I imagine I would live life as I do now.  But if offered that proposal I would find a decent plastic surgeon first.  I would not choose marriage not children.
