Is it wrong to cry at work if a customer gets in your face like a drill sergeant?
I did, but hid in the bathroom till I stopped. This was a man in line who was angry about the line being too long. Normally this kind of thing wouldn't have bothered me, but he embarrassed me and made me feel like I wasn't doing my job.
I'd probably have cried as well, to be honest. I'm a fairly sensitive person and while I can hold my own in an argument, if a customer got in my face and started yelling at me like a drill sergeant and I didn't know what to say to them, I might break down. However, it's not professional to do it in front of them, management, or fellow employees. You were right to go to the bathroom until you stopped. Some people will tell you it's wrong, but you can't stop yourself from having feelings.
It should not matter if he embarrassed you or not. You are not always at fault for the line being long. Sometimes there are just too many people to reach them all at a good time. So he is just angry at the situation. Don't cry during those situations. Just think about hurting him in your head. Smile at him and say you are sorry for the trouble and wish him a good day. Later think about arguing with the evil SOB.
Don't feel bad about crying at all. It happens to all of us sometimes. It is so frustrating to cry at work, but believe me, most of us have done it. I've been known to hide in the bathroom myself. I've seen bosses cry at work, too, so don't feel like you are the only one. I've noticed sometimes it is a natural instinct to cry out of anger or frustration. It is not at all a sign of weakness. We've all been there!

How do you prove something is morally right or wrong without using the Bible or appealing to God?
