   Does the Bible discuss "evolution" or at least some aspects of evolution?

   In my late night studies of the Bible, it has been made aware to me that perhaps the Bible gives some indication of some sort of "evolution."
   
   In Genesis 1:21 it says "So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good."
   
   Then in Genesis 1:25 it says "God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good."
   
   The main thing I noticed was the word "created" being used in Genesis 1:21 and "made" being used in 1:25. It may not seem like a big deal but those two words have completely different implications. Let me give you an example. Today, my wife "made" a loaf of bread for our family. She didn't "create" a loaf of bread, she "made" it. What that implies, is that she didn't "create" something from nothing. She took flour, water, salt, oil, and sugar(don't worry it was only a teaspoon of organic cane sugar) and she "made" a loaf of bread. She took different parts of food items and combined them into something completely different that has little to no resemblence of what it was two hours before she started.
   
   We do not find ANYTHING in the text of the BIble to suggest that God made each individual species seperately. That came from "the church" not The Bible.
   
   Now, I want to make this very clear. I am not saying that I prescribe to evolution. I havent studied it long enough, but as I study it, it is raisding questions about things that are considered "heresy" based on organized religion, "not" The Bible. So, at this point I am just trying to answer what I consider to be valid questions. I do not believe everything about evolution. Which is ok, because I don't believe everything I hear in church either.

   This is honestly the most thought provoking question I have heard in at least a year. I thought I knew my answer from the title, but after reading your comment I have never noticed that about the phrasing. It's really hard to tell since even King James is still not the original Hebrew text and the second reason it's hard to answer is because I am stuck in my way of thinking on the subject from growing up in church. I do believe that a good amount of churches tend to teach dogma insteadmof scripture and who knows. This may be one of those things.
   Congratulations on asking a truly great question. I now have something to study relentlessly for the next week.

   Assuming that god exist, what we really see in the bible is really our own interpretation of god.  This is because that is how human mind work, we don't respond to a situation, but we respond our own evaluation of these situations instead. 
   
   I think god's grand design is also to teach us to passively believe everything we are told and it is our own job to find out the mistakes that exist within the bible, rather then having god coming down to earth and telling us what mistake are there in the bible
